Abstract:
A microfluidic chip including a substrate and at least a channel set is provided. The substrate has a surface, and the channel set is formed in the substrate and includes a channel, at a least a filler fillister, and at least a well fillister. The filler fillister and the well fillister are all connected to the channel, and the channel passes through the well fillister. The depth of the well fillister relative to the surface is longer than the depth of the channel relative to the surface. Hence, the well fillister can hinder the fluid flow in the channel and be used as a valve.
Abstract:
A one-piece LC type optical fiber adapter is provided. The LC type adapter of the present invention has fewer parts than a conventional one. Therefore, it is simpler and easier to assemble the LC type adapter of the present invention. In addition, the main body of the LC type adapter is unitary thereby avoiding the prior art problem that the stresses cause the two halves of the adapter to separate from each other after time.
Abstract:
An MPO type optical fiber adapter according to the present invention is provided. The main body of the MPO type adapter is unitary thereby avoiding the prior art problem that the stresses cause the two halves of the adapter to separate from each other after time.
Abstract:
A holder for single head fiber optic connectors comprises a body and a pair of arms. The body has a guarding portion. The arms extend from the body so as to form a pair of receiving spaces between the body and the arms. The single head fiber optic connectors are held in the receiving spaces by the arms and the guarding portion.
Abstract:
The present invention provides an optical fiber connector adapted for connecting an optical fiber carried in the optical fiber connector to an optical cable, which comprises a plug, a ferrule assembly mounted in the plug, a retention member engaged with the plug, and having a first end and a second end, a resilient element mounted between the ferrule assembly and the retention member, a crimp member having a third end and a fourth end engaging with the second end, an extension member connecting thereto the optical cable, attached to the crimp member at the crimp member at the third end and having an entrance end, and an adjuster mounted between the second end and the fourth end for adjusting an engaging extent therebetween. Such an optical fiber connector not only prevents a clearance between two coupled ferrules of two connectors from interrupting optical signals transmitted therethrough but also guards against an inadvertent detachment of the connector from the coupling housing when the connectors are coupled on the coupling housing. Besides, the pre-assemblage of the first and the second units are compatible among different types of the present connectors.
Abstract:
An optical fiber adapter according to the present disclosure includes a main body, two inner housings, a cover plate and an elastic shutter member. The main body has an axial accommodation room defined by a first wall, a second wall, a third wall and a fourth wall, wherein the first wall faces the third wall and connects with the second and fourth walls. The accommodation room has a first opening and a second opening opposing to the first opening. An access opening is provided on the first wall for the inner housings to place within the accommodation room. The cover plate is positioned to cover the access opening on the first wall. The shutter member includes a fixing portion, at least one first hook, a shutter plate and a connecting portion. The fixing portion is positioned on the cover plate and within the accommodation room. The first hook is provided at the fixing portion for the fixing portion to be fixed on the cover plate. The connecting portion connects the fixing portion with the shutter plate. The shutter plate extends from the connecting portion and is positioned within the accommodation room.

Abstract:
An optical fiber adapter is provided. The adapter includes a plurality of walls which defines an accommodation room adapted for being coupled with an optical fiber connector. A protrusion in the accommodation room is disposed on one of the walls. The adapter further includes a shutter member having a first parallel portion, a second parallel portion substantially parallel to the first parallel portion and a connecting portion connecting the first and second parallel portions. The first and second parallel portions and the connecting portion together define a clamping portion. The clamping portion clamps the protrusion. An elastic shutter plate extends from the first parallel portion and into the accommodation room.
