Disclosed herein are a piezo-type scanning apparatus and a touch screen using the same. The preferred embodiments of the present invention provides the scanning apparatus including a light source; an optical fiber of which one end is connected to the light source to provide a transmission line; a support that supports the side surface of the optical fiber; and a driving body that is positioned between the support and the light source to provide driving force rotating the optical fiber using piezoelectric force, and the touch screen using the same.

There is provided a fingerprint detection sensor and a method of detecting a fingerprint. The fingerprint detection sensor according to embodiments of the present invention includes a plurality of piezoelectric sensors arranged on a two-dimensional plane; and a fingerprint detection unit detecting a fingerprint by using ultrasonic signals discharged from the plurality of respective piezoelectric sensors, wherein the fingerprint detection unit determines whether the fingerprint is a forged fingerprint by detecting bloodstreams within a first region on the two-dimensional plane in which the ultrasonic signals discharged from the plurality of respective piezoelectric sensors overlap one another.

There are provided a distance measurement apparatus and a distance measurement method, the distance measurement apparatus including: a light source outputting light; a switch array including a plurality of cells, and controlling a position at which the light output from the light source is irradiated, by switching operations of the respective cells; a light detector sensing the light reflected from a target object; and a controller sequentially controlling the switching operations of the plurality of cells of the switch array, wherein the controller generates distance information between the light source and the target object based on the light sensed by the light detector. The light detector including a single cell light detector element may be used, to thereby reduce the costs.

Disclosed herein is a pressure sensing module of a touch panel, including: an input unit 100 that inputs a touch; a controller 200 that controls the sensing of pressure applied when touch is input; a camera module driver 300 that is driven by the controller 200; a calculator 400 that calculates a pressure value applied when the touch panel is touched by using the change at the touched surface sensed by the camera module driver 300; and an output value display unit 500 that displays an output value derived from the calculator 400. According to the present invention, the pressure applied when the central portion and edge portions of the touch panel are touched can be uniformly measured, even in the case of the large-sized touch panel.

Disclosed herein is a haptic device 100. The haptic device 100 includes: a substrate 20 receiving a touch of an input unit 10; a piezoelectric vibrator 30 provided on the substrate 20 and applying vibration; a piezoelectric vibration sensor 40 provided on the substrate 20 and sensing the variation in the vibration by the pressure of the touch; and a controller measuring the pressure of the touch through the variation in the vibration sensed by the piezoelectric vibration sensor 40, and has an advantage of implementing various interfaces varying depending on the magnitude of pressure by sensing the variation in vibration by means of the piezoelectric vibration sensor 40 when the input unit 10 touches the substrate 20 and measuring the pressure of the touch in the controller.

Disclosed herein is a method of manufacturing a touch screen, including: (A) preparing a transparent substrate; (B) forming a patterned transparent electrode including a conductive polymer on the transparent substrate and allowing patterns of the transparent electrode in different columns to be connected by a connection part; and (C) removing the connection part of the transparent electrode. The method of manufacturing a touch screen forms the transparent electrode so that the patterns in different columns are definitely spaced apart from each other to accurately detect touched positions.

There are provided a fingerprint detection sensor and a method of manufacturing the same. The fingerprint detection sensor includes a plurality of piezoelectric sensors arranged in an array on a two-dimensional plane and having a predetermined height; a filler provided to surround the plurality of piezoelectric sensors and isolating vibrations between the plurality of piezoelectric sensors; and a control unit discharging predetermined output signals through the piezoelectric sensors to detect information of an object in contact with, or close to, the plurality of piezoelectric sensors, wherein the plurality of piezoelectric sensors include first surfaces and second surfaces disposed on both ends thereof in a height direction and areas of the first surfaces and the second surfaces are different from each other.
