A system and method for providing a karaoke service using an object-oriented audio/video karaoke contents through a digital TV using a set-top box connected to a cable network or internet is disclosed. The system for providing a karaoke service using the set-top box, the system includes: a user management server for authenticating and managing a user accessing the karaoke service system to use object-oriented audio/video karaoke contents through a cable network or internet; and a contents service server for providing an object-oriented audio/video karaoke contents list to an authenticated user and karaoke contents selected by the authenticated user to a set-top box.

A method of fabricating an organic light emitting device includes forming a first electrode layer on a substrate, surface-treating the first electrode layer with CF4 plasma, forming a first common layer containing pentacene on the surface-treated first electrode layer, forming an organic light emitting layer on the first common layer, forming a second common layer on the organic light emitting layer, and forming a second electrode layer on the second common layer. The CF4 plasma treatment enhances the luminous efficiency of the organic light emitting device.

A microarray including a substrate having a first diffraction grating and a second diffraction grating formed perpendicularly to each other is provided. Also, a method of detecting a target molecule in a sample is provided. The method includes: placing a sample containing a labelled target molecule on a diffraction grating on the above microarray to react with a probe molecule immobilized on the diffraction grating; irradiating a first electromagnetic wave to a product of a reaction between the target molecule and the probe molecule; and detecting a second electromagnetic wave emitted from the labelled probe molecule.

A method and an apparatus for providing user interaction are provided. The apparatus for providing user interaction includes an input unit configured to receive control by a user; a control processing unit configured to analyze the control and generate drag event information including event type information indicating a type of the control and event attribute information; and an action processing unit configured to generate drag element information for showing an action corresponding to the control on a display. The drag element information includes action mode information indicating a mode of the action and action attribute information. The proposed method and apparatus make it possible to apply various data formats defined by existing standard specifications to other standard specifications and interaction devices.

Provided are a content writing apparatus and a content playback apparatus. The content writing apparatus may regard, as a single media file, a plurality of Moving Picture Experts Group (MPEG)-2 Transport Streams (TSs), may form a scene in a scene descriptor, such as a BInary Format for Scene (BIFS) or a Lightweight Application Scene Representation (LASeR), and may record the formed scene and the plurality of MPEG-2 TSs, as a media file in an International Standards Organization (ISO) format. The content playback apparatus may extract a scene from the media file in the ISO format, and may play back the extracted scene.
