    摘要： A machine for automatically assembling knitted articles has a guideway to direct the selvedges of articles towards a sewing machine where they will be connected. A selvedge unrolling device upstream of the sewing machine comprises a disc having notches which receive ''''tailor-tacks'''' of the selvedge edges and are swung aside by rotation of the disc to lift the tailor tacks upwardly well clear of the sewing machine needle whereupon the tack escapes from the notch and the disc rotates until a fresh notch is presented to the selvedges to be stitched together.

    摘要： The invention relates to a method of and device for displaying the length of yarn used in making a given number of stitches on a knitting machine. With regard to the dimensions of the device microswitches are set to be activated at an interval of time during which the machine knits a selected number of stitches different from said given number. Electrical pulses are generated as the yarn is fed and are counted during the interval between activation of the microswitches. The length of yarn used in making the given number of stitches is displayed on the counter.

    摘要： A device for controlling the delivery of thread to a knitting machine comprises a speed variator which is connected to a mechanical transmission extending between a cylinder and thread furnisher of the knitting machine, and a motor which controls the variator. The motor is reversible in forward and reverse directions and has two pairs of switches which start and stop the motor in both directions. The starting switches are operated by a control cam and programming element of the knitting machine. A follower device is provided whose travel corresponds to a predetermined length of fabric produced by the knitting machine and this follower device operates the stopping switches.
