The developer cartridge includes a cartridge housing and a developer delivery unit to deliver a developer received in the cartridge housing. The developer delivery unit includes a delivery member and a contact portion to come into contact with the delivery member. The contact between the contact portion and the delivery member form a length longer than a straight line connecting one end of the contact portion to the other end.

摘要： A charging apparatus including a charging tube which has an outer surface contacting a photoconductive medium and electrically charges a surface of the photoconductive medium, a shaft which is disposed in the charging tube and to which a charging voltage is applied, and a conductive member which is connected to the shaft and contacts an inner surface of the charging tube. A friction coefficient between the conductive member and the inner surface of the charging tube may be less than a friction coefficient between the photoconductive medium and the outer surface of the charging tube, so that a slip phenomenon of the charging tube is prevented.

摘要： A developing device usable with an image forming apparatus, which has an improved configuration to allow smooth flow of developer stored therein. The developing device includes a housing in which a developer receiving chamber is defined, a partition to divide the developer receiving chamber into a first developer receiving chamber and a second developer receiving chamber, and a first developer delivery member arranged in the first developer receiving chamber to deliver developer in a first direction. The partition includes at least one opening to communicate the first developer receiving chamber and the second developer receiving chamber with each other, and a shield to block between the first developer receiving chamber and the second developer receiving chamber at an upstream position of the first direction so as to isolate the two developer receiving chambers from each other.

The developing unit comprises a photoconductive drum which is rotatable, a developing roller rotating in association with the photoconductive drum and attaching a toner to the photoconductive drum, a toner supplying roller for supplying the toner to the developing roller, a first support body for rotatably supporting the photoconductive drum, and an idle gear being mounted in the first support body so that the centers of the idle gear, the photoconductive drum and the developing roller are arranged to form a triangle. In such an arrangement, a force is created and exerted upon the rollers to determine a position of the developing roller with respect to the photoconductive drum.
