摘要： Techniques in a mobile communication device configured to operate using a wireless communication network are described. The mobile device operates to establish an emergency call with a public safety answering point entity, and subsequently monitors to receive an incoming call message which indicates whether the incoming call message is for emergency call back. If data indications in the data fields indicate that the incoming call message is for emergency call back, then the mobile device causes the emergency call back to be answered automatically.

摘要： Methods and apparatus for use in processing disconnected emergency calls and other communications involving mobile communication devices, as well as the remote monitoring of such mobile communication devices, are disclosed. In one illustrative example, an emergency call with a public safety answering point entity is established by a mobile communication device via a wireless communication network. If the emergency call is disconnected, the mobile device monitors to receive an incoming call message for a continued emergency call from the public safety answering point entity. In response to receiving such incoming call message, the mobile device refrains from producing an audible alert and automatically answers the continued emergency call from the public safety answering point entity without detecting any manual answer signal via its user interface. In one specific approach, the mobile device answers the call automatically if the incoming call message is received within a time period following the disconnection and a data indication of the incoming call message indicates that the message is for the continued emergency call or automatic answering. Otherwise, if the incoming call message is received outside of the time period following the disconnection, or if the data indication fails to indicate that the incoming call message is for the continued emergency call or the automatic answering, the mobile device refrains from automatically answering the call associated with the incoming call message.

摘要： Techniques for use in producing an incoming call message for a mobile-terminated call to a mobile communication device which operates in a wireless communication network are described. When the mobile-terminated call is a non-emergency call, data indications in one or more data fields of the incoming call message are set to instruct the mobile communication device to perform non-emergency call processing. When the mobile-terminated call is an emergency call from a public safety answering point entity, the data indications in the one or more data fields of the incoming call message are set to instruct the mobile communication device to automatically answer the emergency call. The incoming call message is sent to the mobile communication the wireless communication network.

摘要： A communication device receives an incoming call message for an incoming call. The incoming call message has data indications indicating whether the incoming call is an emergency call from a public safety answering point entity. If the data indications do not indicate that the incoming call is an emergency call from the public safety answering point, then the communication device performs non-emergency call processing for the incoming call. On the other hand, if the data indications indicate that the incoming call is an emergency call, then the communication device causes the emergency call to be answered automatically.

摘要： A mobile device operates in a WLAN for VoIP communications, which includes registering with registrar server functionality of a SIP proxy server with a SIP identity which is further communicated to a location server. In response to an incoming voice call from a caller via a telephone network, the mobile device receives an INVITE request which is issued from a gateway and forwarded from the SIP proxy server. The mobile device sends a response to the SIP proxy server which is communicated to the caller via the gateway. When switching from the WLAN to the cellular network, the mobile device sends via the WLAN to the location server a message for forwarding voice calls directed to the SIP identity to the telephone number. The mobile device also sends via the cellular network a message for canceling the forwarding of voice calls directed to telephone number to the SIP identity.
