摘要: Methods and systems for maintaining an atmosphere inside a habitat enclosing a work station and shutting down one, more than one, or all operational equipment inside and/or outside the habitat upon the occurrence of an adverse event. Concentrations of explosive, flammable, and/or poisonous gases or vapors are sensed, transmitted to a logic device, as are temperature, pressure, and/or humidity. HVAC units and air extraction units controlled by the logic device maintain acceptable pressure, temperature, and/or humidity. Any grit and dust may be extracted. Any explosive, flammable, and/or poisonous gases or vapors are extracted employing an emergency gas extraction sub-system controlled by the logic device. The logic device shuts down one, more than one, or all operational equipment inside and/or outside the habitat (for example as dictated by the client, law, or regulation) upon receiving one or more adverse event signals.

摘要: System, method, and apparatus for cleaning industrial furnaces and associated structures. The system improves the dynamic pressure and cleaning of conventional air cannon systems utilizing air as a pressurized gas source for discharge by the air cannon. According to the present invention, the pressurized gas source is selected to have a density greater than air at an equivalent temperature. The increased density of the pressurized gas source improves the cleaning capability of the conventional air cannon for removing stubborn deposits.

摘要: A system for use in selective catalytic reduction reactor is disclosed. The system may include a catalyst bed and a screen located close to the catalyst bed in a manner so that flow of flue gas to the catalyst bed contacts the screen before it contacts the catalyst bed. The screen may be adapted to support a weight of at least 400 pounds above the catalyst bed so that the weight is not imposed on the catalyst. The screen may have a plurality of holes across its surface in a manner so that the screen is adapted to change the velocity distribution of the flue gas as it flows through the screen.

摘要: This disclosure provides an apparatus, system, and method for thermal spraying a metal cladding on a substrate. The apparatus may include a housing having a first electrode and a second electrode disposed in the housing. The second electrode can be spaced apart from the first electrode. The apparatus includes a first contact tip removably attached to the first electrode and a second contact tip removably attached to the second electrode. The position of the first contact tip and second contact tip is configured to be selectively adjusted on the first electrode and the second electrode to provide a plurality of contact surfaces for a feedstock wire. The apparatus includes a nozzle between the first contact tip and the second contact tip. The first contact tip and the second contact tip are configured to contact and deflect a wire towards the nozzle.
