摘要： A master link joint for a drive chain is disclosed. The disclosed master link joint includes two master links. Each master link includes a first half link and a second half link that engage each other along mating abutment surfaces. The two master links are disposed on opposite sides of the chain. The first half links are coupled by a pin that traverses the chain and the second half links are coupled by a bushing that traverses the chain. The mating abutment surfaces include a first ramp that meets a second offset ramp at a junction or root. An angle θ defined by the second ramps of the mating abutment surfaces and a line parallel to the rail or bottom pad of the half links ranges from about 45 to about 53°.

摘要： A method of combating rheumatoid arthritis, comprising administering to a human subject in need thereof, an effective oral dose of a probiotic composition in an oral dose form including, as the only bacterial species therein, the bacterial species of Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus coagulans, and Enterococcus faecium. The initial occurrence, and progress of remission of the rheumatoid arthritis condition incident to such probiotic therapy, may be established and monitored by assay of rheumatoid factor and/or anti-CCP antibodies present in a blood sample of the human subject.

摘要： Methods are provided for forming a valve flowbody. Valve assemblies including the flowbody are also provided. A method includes disposing a first fiber composite fabric piece in a cavity of a first half of an outer mold and placing a foam piece over a portion of the first fiber composite fabric piece. A cylinder is placed in the outer mold first half over the foam piece and the first fiber composite fabric piece, where the cylinder is made of a second fiber composite fabric piece. The first half of the outer mold is assembled with a second half of the outer mold to enclose the cylinder, the foam piece, and the first fiber composite fabric piece therebetween. The assembled outer mold is heated to cure resin impregnated in the first and the second fiber composite fabric pieces to form the valve flowbody.

The system and method provides a rhetorical content model, and automated methods of generating proposals and other documents based thereon. The data storage system can map properties from an explicit data architecture to constructs in a liquid content abstract data architecture. The mapping is performed based on rules such that the level of abstraction is increased from normal database architectures. In a particular illustrative embodiment, the content management system includes a database including a plurality of records and a server responsive to the database. At least one of the plurality of records includes a plurality of fields storing grammatical syntax elements associated with a content subject. Each of the grammatical syntax elements has a rhetorical structure to facilitate selective assembly into at least one sentence. The server is configured to selectively retrieve at least one of the grammatical syntax elements and to provide a data file including the selectively retrieved grammatical syntax element.

摘要： A planetary gear set is disclosed that includes self-aligning carrier shafts for the planetary gears that greatly reduces the wear to the carrier shaft caused by torque-induced loads on the planetary gear set. The carrier shaft includes a first cantilevered member extending from a carrier deck, which is connected, to a second cantilevered member that extends toward the carrier deck. A bearing member of the planetary gear is mounted to the second cantilevered member and the planetary gear is mounted to the bearing member. Under a torque-induced load on the planetary gear, the first cantilevered member is deflected in a first direction and the second cantilevered member is deflected in a second direction opposite the first direction, thus a carrier shaft designed in accordance with the present invention enables offsetting deflections under torque-induced loads leading to a reduction in the wear of the bearing member and the carrier shaft. The disclosed carrier shaft further permits a planetary gear system that utilizes a single carrier deck rather than dual carrier decks.

摘要： Sintered bauxite particles having defined physical and chemical properties are disclosed as being surprisingly eminently suitable as filtration media for molten polymer, such as polyester polymer. Broadly, the particles have a roundness of at least 0.8, and an API standard mesh size of at least 12; in addition, such particles inherently contain significant amounts of ferric oxide. It is preferred that the sintered bauxite particles (i) be microcrystalline, and therefore sintered under critical conditions; (ii) exhibit high crush strength; (iii) be compaction and fracture resistant up to pressures of 6000 psi by defined permeability tests; and (iv) have an API standard mesh size not greater than 70. Also, the sintered particles may have a microporous internal structure and surface.Also disclosed is an improved annular melt-spinning pack, including a bed of sintered bauxite particles, and means for preventing the bed of free-flowing particles from being deformed during use of the pack.
