    摘要: The invention relates to an electromagnetic braking device for molten steel that flows into a continuous casting mould (1). Said device comprises at least one solenoid (2) with a ferromagnetic core (5) that is allocated to the broad sides (3, 4) of the mould. To reduce the oscillating mass and at the same time increase the strength of the magnetic field, the core (5) consists of a primary part (6) that houses the solenoid (2) and can be displaced at a distance from the broad side walls (3, 4) and attachments (8, 8′) that are fixed in water tanks (7, 7′) of the mould (1). When combined in their operating position, the core parts (6, 8) produce U-shaped yokes (9, 9′) for generating a closed magnetic flux (10) and when moved apart, cause the magnetic flux (10) to be interrupted.

    摘要: A system and process are provided for monitoring the valves of an anesthetic dispenser with a safety valve (2) and with a dispensing valve (3) for dispensing the anesthetic in the form of a vapor. The valves are connected in series. A system has a downstream dispensing gap (5) and a fixed bypass resistance (9). The system and process include the steps: a) the dispensing valve (3) is first opened for an equalization time, b) the safety valve (2) and the dispensing valve (3) are closed and the differential pressure between the saturated vapor branch (4) and the mixed gas branch (8) is measured by means of a differential pressure sensor (6, 7), c) the safety valve (2) or the dispensing valve (3) is opened and the differential pressure between the saturated vapor branch (4) and the mixed gas branch (8) is measured by means of the differential pressure sensor (6, 7), d) the opened safety valve (2) or the opened dispensing valve (3) is closed and the difference between the differential pressures measured in steps b) and c) is determined and compared with a preset limit value, so that e) the valve (2, 3) that is not opened in step c) is considered to be tight when the difference is below this limit value.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for measuring a load in an elevator cage supported by a carrying frame. The elevator cage movable relative to the carrying frame and to an elevator shaft. The elevator cage may rest on spring elements, which bear on the carrying frame. A belt, which may guided by a pair of deflecting rollers, may be mechanically coupled with the elevator cage. The movement of the elevator cage may be transmitted to the belt, which drives a pulse generator coupled to a first deflecting roller. When the load within the elevator cage changes, the spring elements may be compressed to a greater or lesser extent according to their spring characteristic. Accordingly, the elevator cage may move relative to the carrying frame, and the movement may be detected by the pulse generator and translated into a travel signal. An evaluating unit may be utilized to convert the travel signal into a load magnitude for influencing a motor current.
