    摘要: A method for forming a shaft assembly includes: providing a shaft structure, the shaft structure comprising a shaft and a universal joint member that is coupled to an end of the shaft; inserting a weight member to the shaft structure to form an intermediate assembly, the weight member being formed at least partly from a liquid resin, the intermediate assembly having an initial rotational unbalance; rotating the intermediate assembly about a longitudinal axis of the shaft structure to re-distribute a least a portion of the weight member circumferentially about the shaft structure to at least partly attenuate the initial rotational unbalance; and curing the liquid resin while rotating the intermediate assembly to fix the re-distributed portion of the weight member to the shaft structure to thereby form a balance weight that at least partly attenuates the initial rotational unbalance. A shaft assembly is also provided.

In order to provide a facilitated balancing of a rotating anode allowing balancing also in a state where the rotating anode disk is mounted inside an X-ray tube, an adjustment device (54) for balancing a rotating anode disk in an operating state is provided. The adjustment device comprises at least a first plurality (72) of balancing elements (74), wherein the balancing elements are attached to at least one circular ring structure (76), and wherein the balancing elements each comprise a balancing portion (80) mounted to the circular ring structure via a bending portion (82). The bending portions are configured to be heated to a bending temperature to allow a radial pivoting movement (84) of the balancing portion from a first state (86) into a second state (88) caused by centrifugal forces upon rotation, wherein in the first state, a centre of mass of the balancing portion is closer to a centre (90) of the circular ring structure than the second state.

    摘要: An active balancing system for rotating machinery is provided which is light weight, solid state and powered by radiant energy. One or more balance rings coupled to the rotating machinery each have balancing elements which are moved to a selected position by actuators whose operation is controlled according to measured vibration resulting from imbalance of the machinery. The actuators are powered by an electrical energy generating device, such as a photo cell or a photovoltaic element, which is coupled to the machinery and located across an air gap from a source of radiant energy such as an array of light emitting diodes.

The unbalance correction device (1) of a high speed rotary apparatus includes a plurality of claw structures (10) (clamp members) for fixing, by clamping, a workpiece (20) to a turbine housing section (3); a cylinder mechanism (30) for moving and energizing the claw structures (10), a solenoid valve (35) for adjusting the moving amount and energizing force of the claw structure (10) by the cylinder mechanism (30); a position sensor (37) for detecting the position of the claw structure (10); and posture control means for controlling each solenoid valve (35) such that the position shift of the claw structure (10) detected by the position sensor (37) becomes smaller than its acceptable value.

    摘要: The present invention relates to an automatic balance adjusting centrifuge which calculates the magnitude and the location of imbalance of itself based on the vibration generated in the dynamic state and automatically compensate for the imbalance based on the calculation, and the control method thereof. The method includes: (a) measuring the amount of vibration of a rotor of a centrifuge, supporting buckets that load samples, at a predetermined rotational velocity; (b) determining whether the amount of vibration measured in step (a) is greater than an allowed value; and (c) when the amplitude of the vibration is greater than the allowed value, compensating for a weight imbalance of the rotor by an amount calculated based on the vibration amount measured in step (a) and returning to step (a), otherwise, performing a centrifugal separation by accelerating the rotor to a working velocity.
