摘要： An improved user interface is provided for displaying selectable software functionality controls that are relevant to a selected object and that remain visibly available for use while the selected object is being edited. Upon selection of a particular object for editing, functionality available for editing the object is presented in a ribbon-shaped user interface above the software application workspace to allow the user ready and efficient access to functionality needed for editing the selected object. The display of relevant functionality controls is persisted until the user dismisses the display, selects another top-level functionality control or selects another object for editing.

摘要： Systems and methods for providing immediate access to comprehensive information and answers on a set of related search engine results pages for common searches executed in the entertainment domain relating to, for instance, music, musicians, movies and celebrities. Upon receipt of a keyword-based search query, a decision is made regarding what the user actually wanted to see as a search result. This information is then automatically presented in a dedicated region of the keyword search results page, typically with links to more refined information. Upon selection of a link, the refined information is also displayed in a dedicated region of the keyword search results page. In this way, the user does not have to navigate multiple, different user interfaces on a variety of different web sites in order to view the information desired.

In embodiments, a query is received, associated with at least one tag, and stored in association therewith. In one embodiment, to determine at least one relevant tag to associate with the query, the received query is analyzed based upon unit frequency and/or relative unit proximity. The unit frequency and/or relative unit proximity is compared to similar measures associated with a plurality of other queries to determine at least one related query. The received query is then associated with at least one tag associated with the related query.
