摘要: Embodiments of a computer system, a method, and a computer-program product (e.g., software) for use with the computer system are described. These embodiments may be used to identify and correct errors in financial information that was extracted using character-recognition software, such as optical character recognition software and/or intelligent character recognition software. In particular, potential errors may be identified by comparing the financial information for a current financial transaction of a user with expected financial information from one or more previous financial transactions of the user. Error metrics for these potential errors may be determined and used to correct at least some of the potential errors. For example, values of the Levenshtein edit distance may be determined based on the comparison, and one or more potential errors associated with one or more minimum values of the Levenshtein edit distance may be corrected.

摘要: A method and system for determining the position of at least one position retroreflective element in a predetermined frame of reference using two benchmark positions of known coordinates. A light transmitting and detecting means and a reference retroreflective element are oppositely positioned at a primary benchmark position located at known first coordinates and a secondary benchmark position located at known second coordinates. The light transmitting and detecting means takes angular measurements by sensing a reflected light beam from the position and reference retroreflective elements. After taking angular measurements in the above configuration, the light transmitting and detecting means and the reference retroreflective element are transposed and additional angular measurements are taken. From the angular measurements, the position of the position retroreflective element is determined in the coordinate frame of reference. In addition, the light transmitting and detecting means may be further positioned at an intermediate benchmark position having unknown coordinates. After determining the coordinates of the intermediate benchmark position, angular measurements taken at the intermediate benchmark position are compared with the angular measurements from the primary and secondary benchmark positions and the most accurate measurements are used to determine the position of at least one position retroreflective element.

摘要: An interpretive language comprises instructions making up part of the first sequence of instructions (a test "script"). The first language comprises a first set of instructions, the first set of instructions causes a first computer system (a "host" in a preferred embodiment) to issue a series of commands to a second computer system (a "target") in order to cause the second computer system to emulate user activity on the second computer system. User activity includes emulating typing text and/or moving a mouse cursor position. The language further comprises a second set of instructions which cause the first computer system to issue a series of commands to the second computer system in order to cause the second computer system to respond to the first computer system with its state. This state includes user interface objects, and applications running in the target, etc. The language further comprises a third set of instructions, the third set of instructions causing the first computer system to issue a sequence of commands to the second computer system to respond in a predefined manner. These instructions indicate that the target computer system is to respond in within a given period of time, listen for further commands, etc. This is useful for repeatable and systematic testing of computer systems having a variety of hardware and software combinations for compatibility testing. Multitasking using "threads" for control of different targets using different test routines is also provided.
