摘要: A system that aesthetically dispenses melted wax includes a plurality of elongated heating cases, a plurality of wax cartridges, and a plurality of transfer canisters. The plurality of elongated heating cases is used to heat up wax or similar crayon material which is placed inside of the plurality of wax cartridges. The plurality of wax cartridges is used to hold wax or similar crayon material. The plurality of transfer canisters is used to store the plurality of wax cartridges when not in use and to transfer a wax cartridge from the plurality of wax cartridges into an elongated heating case of the plurality of elongated heating cases.

摘要: Invention defines a method and apparatus for storing energy where a power source is used to reposition a mass in a gravitational field to a position of higher potential energy where the stored potential energy may be recovered with extremely low loss, where the force of gravity may be allowed to accelerates the mass, where the resulting kinetic energy is converted to shaft horsepower. Said shaft horsepower may be converted to pneumatic, electrical, or hydraulic power. A variation defines a method where a power source is used to submerge a buoyant object in a fluid, where the submerged object represents a potential energy, where the force of gravity displaces the submerged buoyant object, where the kinetic energy resulting from the displacement is converted to shaft horsepower. Said shaft horsepower may be similarly converted to pneumatic, electrical, or hydraulic power. Invention defines a process where available energy can be used to do work to raise a massive object against a planetary gravitational field, to a position of high potential energy which can be maintained indefinitely. On demand the mass can be accelerated by the gravitational field and converted to kinetic energy, which is harnessed and converted to shaft horsepower, allowing the desired energy recovery from the energy storage system.

摘要: An approach is provided for recognizing one or more people from media content and determining if the one or more people are associated with a social networking service. A request is received from a user equipment specifying a media content. Electronically processing of the media content to recognize one or more people is initiated. It is determined whether the one or more people are associated with a member account of a social networking service. A prompting of the user is initiated with an option based on the determination.

摘要: One feature pertains to a microdosimeter cell array that includes a plurality of microdosimeter cells each having a semiconductor volume adapted to generate a current in response to incident radiation. The semiconductor volumes of each of the plurality of microdosimeter cells have at least one of a size, a shape, a semiconductor type, and/or a semiconductor doping type and concentration that is associated with one or more cells or cell components of a human eye. A processing circuit is also communicatively coupled to the microdosimeter cell array and generates a signal based on the currents generated by the semiconductor volumes of the plurality of microdosimeter cells. The signal generated by the processing circuit is indicative of an amount of radiation absorbed by the microdosimeter cell array.

摘要: A method and system for the anonymization and segmentation of the media access control (MAC) addresses reported by visitors' 802.11 enabled devices at a venue operator premises. This system assures a venue operator and its visitors that no individually identifying information about a visitor is re-transmitted or stored that can be traced back to their MAC address, while still allowing the venue operator to obtain venue visitor counts visit frequencies well as traffic patterns during visits (i.e. dwell times at, and movements between, locations within a venue) and counts of common visitors between venues. It also ensures that the data generated is segmented so that the data obtained by two different venue operators is not correlatable between visitors common to the two sets of data.

摘要: Disclosed is an invention for the identification of the true identity of a WLAN device that has been “cloaked” (its source address has the U/L bit set as L), by evaluating its history (recent or distant) of Probe requests for WLAN infrastructure and treating that history as part of its “fingerprint”. Disclosed also is an invention that prompts more management frames from a WLAN device that is sending broadcast Probe requests without specifying a particular network, by presenting the appearance of the presence of popular networks.
