    摘要: A rotary laser engraving device for retaining and rotating an object for engraving includes a frame, a first support assembly and a second support assembly mounted on the frame. To support the object the first support assembly includes a set of driven rollers and the second support assembly includes a set of free rollers, each being diagonally offset from the frame. The second support assembly is configured to slidably move on the frame to vary a longitudinal separation between the driven rollers and the free rollers. The second support assembly further includes a vertical adjustment assembly configured to move the free rollers vertically to vary a vertical separation between the driven rollers and the free rollers. In some aspects, the first support assembly also includes a fixed vertical adjustment assembly configured to move the driven rollers vertically to vary a vertical separation between the driven rollers and the free rollers.

    摘要: An engraving system using a laser as a tool includes a laser cabinet with a three-point suspension system for mounting the cabinet on a surface such as a table. The three suspension points are arranged in a triangle with at least one of the suspension points being either in the front center or rear center of the field of translation of the engraving tool in the xy plane. While the other two suspension points are mounted in either the left and right front corners of the field or the left and right rear corners of the field or close to those locations. Using the three triangularly arranged suspension points, at least two of which are independently adjustable in elevation, the laser cabinet can be elevated and oriented so as to maintain the plane of the tool translation field parallel to the target surface of the workpiece during an engraving operation. Where the tool is a laser, the cabinet also carries a gas laser tube and an optical system for directing the output thereof to a nozzle aimed downwardly along the z axis and equipped for programmable translation in the xy axis field.

    摘要: A motor fixing structure of an engraving machine is provided. A lifting platform has a through hole, at least three protruding walls spaced and arranged around the through hole, and notches each defined between every two of the protruding walls. The outer side of each notch is provided with a clamping block. The lifting platform has a radial guide hole corresponding in position to the clamping block. The clamping block has a vertical aperture. The bottom surface of the lifting platform has an adjustment seat with a peroration. The protruding walls are fitted with a turning disc. The turning disc has at least three oblique curved holes. The turning disc is pivotally connected with a shaft. A drive rod is screwed to the shaft. A quick release assembly is inserted in the corresponding oblique curved holes, the aperture and the guide hole for tightening or loosening the clamping block.

    摘要: The proposed actuator of engraving machine relates to decorative machining of hard materials, and can be used in arrangement of facades and monuments. A permanent magnet and a core with a pivot are concentrically fixed in an upper part of a housing. An electric coil is placed on a cylindrical frame of nonmagnetic material and can move in the axial direction in a ring gap between the core and the permanent magnet together with a pusher fixed in two circular elastic membranes, spaced in the axial direction and fixed in the housing along an external contour. A shank is fixed on the pusher under the membranes, having a central part extending through a bottom cover of the housing. It has a hollow axial opening, wherein a removable impact tool is mounted. The design is simple and reliable. Durability, accuracy and speed of engraving of the actuator are improved.

    摘要: A method for aligning a cylinder support in an engraver includes a step of actuating a plurality of jaws to grip the cylinder support such that the cylinder support becomes automatically aligned in the engraver. The actuating step may further include the step of inserting the cylinder support a predetermined distance into a receiving cavity, where the predetermined distance may range from about 0-300 mm. The method is further characterized in that it may include steps of biasing the plurality of jaws to a predetermined position, energizing a cylinder to cause the plurality of jaws to move substantially simultaneously towards a rotating axis of the engraver; pivoting the pivot lever to cause the jaws to actuate toward and away from a rotational axis of the engraver; and/or lubricating the plurality of jaws with a lubricant and purging the lubricant associated with the plurality of jaws; and/or indexing each of the plurality of jaws to provide a desired travel range. In one embodiment, the cylinder support includes a support shaft located on an end of the cylinder, with the support shaft having a bearing journal thereon such that the actuating step may include the step of actuating the plurality of jaw members to clamp the bearing journal, thereby causing the cylinder to be aligned in the engraver.

    摘要: A platform for supporting an engraving head in a manner accommodating translational movement without any associated rotation. The platform has a deck which is supported by a pair of flexible support columns. In operation the platform is situated alongside a rotating printing cylinder. The engraving head is mounted on the deck of the platform and is provided with a guide shoe which rides against the surface of the printing cylinder. As the cylinder rotates to angular positions having different radii, the engraving head responds with a purely linear reaction. Consequently the engraving head is able to engrave uniform-depth cavities in the surface of the printing cylinder. In two alternative embodiments the deck is driven by a resilient link arrangement which is coupled to a leadscrew and carriage assembly.
