    摘要: The improved bur collection apparatus includes a primary roller member that may be pushed using an attached handle or pulled using an attached tow bar. The roller member includes an outer surface to which stickerweed burs removably attach during the bur collection process. A brushing member in contact with the outer surface imparts friction upon the outer covering to remove attached burs as the roller rotates. The ejected burs are captured in a detachable bur container for ease of disposal without direct contact with the burs. The outer surface of the roller member and the brushing member are replaceable when worn. The brushing member may be driven directly from the roller motion, or may be driven from a powered motive means. The container may be removably attached to the device frame, or may be towed closely therebehind. The apparatus may be manually operated or may be self-propelled.

    摘要: A method and device for coating a medical device, such as a stent, including forming coating droplets using a mesh nebulizer and transporting the coating droplets to the medical device, for example through a converging chamber. The coating droplets may be accelerated to a speed sufficient to break the coating droplets into smaller droplets upon impact with the medical device. The mesh nebulizer may have a convex inlet side and may form a converging plume of coating droplets. The mesh nebulizer may have one or more groups of pores, the pores within each group may be subject to similar amplitudes of vibration. The coating material may be heated or cooled prior to nebulizing. The chamber may include baffles configured to allow only a predetermined size range of coating particles to pass.

    摘要: The invention comprises an interconnection system having an assembly with a base member and a silo. The silo has an upper contact receiving passageway and a lower contact receiving passageway. The silo is slidably mounted onto the base and reciprocally movable in a linear manner between an unterminated position and a terminated position. A pair of U-shaped terminals securable in the base to be received within the silo upon assembly of the silo to the base. Each of the terminals include a base section and a pair of legs extending normally therefrom to define the U-shape. The legs include aligned wire receiving openings and aligned IDC termination slots extending from the openings. A third IDC termination slot is formed along a top of the terminal. The bottom passageway of the silo is aligned with the wire receiving openings and the upper passageway is above the third IDC termination slot when the silo is in the unterminated position. The bottom passageway of the silo is aligned with the aligned IDC termination slots and the upper passageway is aligned with the third IDC termination slot when the silo is in the terminated position.
