Abstract:
The invention relates to an absorbent paper product, such as a napkin or tissue, including at least two tissue paper plies which are superposed and joined, cut or precut into a desired format and connected to one another at least over a segment of a peripheral zone. The plies are joined along the segment by marking patterns without resort to glueing and at least one ply is fitted with embossing patterns in a central zone. The invention applies to sanitary and household papers, in particular disposable napkins and tissues.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a system of dispensing a product rolled around an element such as a tube (50), such product defining a structure such as a cylinder, and such system comprising in particular: a frame, a means of support and connection of the roll in the frame. It is claimed for the invention that the tube (50) includes an electrically conductive element (50c) designed to operate in conjunction with an element of the frame so as together to form an electric circuit element.

Abstract:
A system for dispensing a strip of absorbent product in a coreless roll, of the type including a roll and a dispenser for dispensing the absorbent product, of the type including a first guiding and positioning element which can be received in a first housing of the roll and including a second holding element which can be received in a second housing of the roll, wherein the first guiding and positioning element includes a portion of revolution with a cross section decreasing towards the inside of the dispenser, which can be received in the first associated housing of the roll.
Abstract:
This invention relates to paper rolls for sanitary or home use intended to operate in conjunction with a dispensing system. According to one essential feature of the invention, the roll includes internally a means intended to brake its unwinding. Thus, the consumption of paper may be controlled.
Abstract:
The general application of the invention is a finishing process for an air-laid nonwoven web composed of short cellulosic fibers, bound by a thermoplastic binder and having a less than perfect homogeneous fiber distribution. In the invention, the process includes deforming under hot stress the web between an undeforming hard engraved cylinder and a slave cylinder having a hardness between about 60 and 90 degrees shore hardness D. The slave cylinder is resilient and deformable at the pressure applied to it by the engraved cylinder. In particular, the invention applies to the manufacture of webs and of disposable, decorative napkins.

Abstract:
Apparatus for the production of yarn having a potential crimp which is achieved by varying the viscosity gradient in the mass of polymer upstream of the spinneret. The apparatus includes means for feeding polymer under pressure, a block which is connected to the outlet of the feeding means and a spinning head, including a spinneret formed with at least one row of holes, the spinning head being mounted on the block. At least one passage is defined through the block, for the passage of polymer from the feeding means to the spinneret, this passage having a frusto-conical upstream portion which converges in a downstream direction towards the spinneret. Heating or cooling means are provided on the block for imparting to the polymer, as it passes through the passage, a temperature differential between the polymer at the center of the passage and the polymer at the walls of the passage.Means are also provided for receiving and possibly drafting the yarn which has been extruded through the spinneret.
Abstract:
The toilet paper dispenser as claimed for the invention including a housing in which is housed a roll of a paper strip, which has perforations transverse to strip defining rectangular paper sheets whose width is transverse and whose length is longitudinal. Housing features a nozzle with a dispensing orifice, by means of which the paper strip is unwound. The dispenser is characterized in that the nozzle and the paper roll are disposed in such a way that the paper sheets unwind one by one and emerge with a reduced crumpling as they exit the nozzle, the width of a sheet is between 125 mm and 180 mm, and the ratio of the width of a sheet to its length is between 0.45 and 1, preferably between 0.5 and 0.65, the paper being consumed optimally and in a pleasant manner.
