    摘要: A method of locating a storage device of a number of storage devices is provided. A request for a data item is received. The request includes a globally unique identifier (GUID) that is associated with a user. A start number is generated based on the GUID, and the storage device that stores the data item is located based on the start number. The data item is then read from the located storage device. Other techniques for locating a storage device are also described.

    摘要: Methods and systems to analyze aspect rules based on domain coverage of aspect-value pairs are provided. The system receives a first plurality of data items from a database, applies a first plurality of rules to the first plurality of data items to generate a second plurality of data items associated with a first domain, counts the second plurality of data items to determine a total quantity of data items, applies a second plurality of rules to the second plurality of data items to identify a third plurality of data items it associates with a first aspect-value pair, counts the third plurality of data items to determine a first quantity of data items, determines a percentage of coverage for the first aspect-value pair based on the first quantity of data items and the total quantity of data items, and provides the percentage coverage for the first aspect-value pair as an interface element within an interface.

    摘要: There are provided methods and systems to analyze rules. The system may analyze the rules by applying the rules to a most popular query. The most popular query may be identified as such by containing a particular keyword. Specifically, a most popular query may contain a keyword that appears more often than other keyword in a sample of queries received over a period of time. Next, the system applies the rules to the most popular query to determine a percentage of coverage of the rules for the most popular query. For example, a particular rule may evaluate TRUE, if the rule identifies a keyword in the query. Next the system generates a percentage of coverage based on a count of the rules that evaluated TRUE and the total number of rules that were applied to the most popular query.

The system receives a plurality of queries that are used to search a database, the plurality of queries respectively including a string of text that includes at least one keyword. Next, the system determines a subset of most popular queries from the plurality of queries. Next, the system applies a first plurality of rules to a first most popular query in the subset of most popular queries to identify a second plurality of rules that respectively identify at least one matching keyword in the first most popular query. Next, the system counts the first plurality of rules to determine a total quantity of rules and counts the second plurality of rules to determine a second quantity of rules. Next, the system determines a percentage of coverage for the first most popular query, the percentage of coverage based on the total quantity of rules and the second quantity of rules. Finally, the system provides the percentage of coverage for the first most popular as an interface element within an interface.

    摘要: A request is received from a client machine via a web interface for content presented on a web page. A globally unique identifier (GUID) that is associated with the user is accessed and a number is generated based on the GUID. The generated number is utilized as an index to locate the storage device from the number of storage devices. Here, the storage device stores a user profile associated with the user. The user profile is read from the located storage device and the web page is personalized based on this user profile. The personalized web page is then communicated to the client machine. Other techniques for locating a storage device are also described.
