摘要： An ice making and dispensing system suitable for making and dispensing ice through the refrigerator compartment door of a bottom freezer refrigerator. The ice maker is positioned in an insulated sub-compartment in the refrigerator compartment maintained at a temperature below 0° C. An insulated ice cube storage bin and ice dispenser are positioned on the refrigerator compartment door for dispensing ice cubes through the face of the refrigerator compartment door.

摘要： An ice and water dispenser for a bottom freezer refrigerator positioned on a refrigerator compartment door. The ice maker and ice cube storage bin can have below 0° C. air provided to maintain the ice maker and ice cube storage bin below 0° C. Supply and return ducts can convey below 0° C. air to the ice maker and ice cube storage bin. The supply and return ducts can lead from the bottom freezer compartment or from an evaporator compartment. The ice maker and ice cube storage bin can be located in insulated sub-compartment to allow normal refrigerator compartment temperatures to be maintained in the above freezing refrigerator compartment.

摘要： An ice making and dispensing system suitable for making and dispensing ice through the refrigerator compartment door of a bottom freezer refrigerator. The bottom freezer refrigerator includes an automatic ice maker in an insulated module positioned outside the freezer compartment. The insulated module can be mounted to the exterior of the refrigerator cabinet. An ice cube storage bin can be provided in the insulated compartment or on the inside of the refrigerator compartment door. A passage can connect the insulated module with the ice dispenser on the refrigerator compartment door.

Separate air streams for the evaporator and condenser are provided by two axial flow fans driven by one motor. Evaporator air flow is drawn in axially and discharged radially through louvers in the top and both sides of the cabinet. Condenser air flow is drawn in through the sides of the U-shaped condenser and discharged through the rear of the U-shaped condenser.
