摘要: The present invention relates to a universal joint shaft which includes a driving shaft and driven shaft engaged to a driving yoke and driven yoke which are arranged in an installation position and have opposite both front ends which are distanced and a rectangular cross section in a radius direction, and a three-divided joint formed of connection shafts and having a cross section in a radius direction to correspond to the driving shaft and driven shaft for implementing a radius direction slip and rotational force transfer between the driving shaft and the driven shaft, wherein the universal joint shaft includes a driving yoke and a driven yoke for transferring a rotational force in an inclined state at a certain angle.

摘要: A steering system of automobiles for absorbing impact force, which comprises a steering tube, connected to a steering handle, having a plurality of fixing openings for fixing balls therein; a steering shaft partially inserted into the steering tube and having a plurality of multi-stepped guide grooves for guiding the balls; and the balls positioned in the fixing openings of the steering tube. The guide grooves are adjacent to the fixing openings at one end and extended longitudinally for a predetermined distance, and the balls travel from the fixing openings into the multi-stepped guide grooves between the steering tube and the steering shaft, generating frictional force and absorbing impact force. Hence, the impact force is absorbed by the multi-stepped portions of the guide grooves and gradually transmitted to the driver from the beginning to the end of a collision to ensure the driver with enough time to react to the collision, thereby minimizing injury to the driver.

摘要: Disclosed is a reducer of an electric power steering apparatus. The disclosed reducer includes: a worm shaft bearing coupled with an end of the worm shaft's motor shaft coupling portion in such a manner that a ball coupled between an inner wheel and an outer wheel supports rotation of the worm shaft; and a first damper and a second damper which are tightly fitted in one side and the other side of the worm shaft bearing, respectively, while being insertedly-coupled with the worm shaft, so as to support the worm shaft and absorb a rattle noise transferred via the worm shaft, wherein each of the first damper and the second damper is provided with supporting plates at both sides thereof, and between the supporting plates, a damper made of an elastic material is coupled and formed. The reducer of the electric power steering apparatus reduces a rattle noise which occurs by an increase in backlash caused by abrasion of the worm and the worm wheel, or occurs by an impact transferred from a road via a wheel and the steering shaft, thereby providing a pleasant driving condition to the driver.

摘要: A steering apparatus having a ring type support yoke is provided. The apparatus includes a rack bar provided with a rack gear at one side of the outer circumference thereof, a support provided on the other side of the outer circumference of the rack bar, and a support yoke surrounding the rack bar so as to come into contact with the support, thereby reducing manufacturing costs of the steering apparatus through reducing the number of the parts supporting the support yoke, and shortening the manufacturing period of the steering apparatus through dispensing with the adjusting process for adjusting the degree of engagement between the rack gear and the pinion gear.

摘要: Disclosed is a reducer of an electric power steering apparatus.
