Abstract:
A computer-assisted method for quantitatively characterizing atrial fibrillation in a patient includes recording time series of bipolar atrial fibrillation signals at multiple sites in a patient's atria using two or more electrodes, calculating a similarity index vector by a computer system based on the bipolar atrial fibrillation signal between a first site and its neighboring sites, constructing an similarity-index vector field based on similarity-index vectors at different sites, calculating Curl and Divergence of the similarity-index vector field, calculating Rotor Identification using Curl and Divergence, calculating Focal Identification using Divergence, and determining one or more critical regions in the patient's atria if Rotor Identification is above a first predetermined threshold and Focal Identification is above a second predetermined threshold.
Abstract:
A mechanism is provided in a virtual machine monitor for providing cache partitioning in virtualized environments. The mechanism assigns a virtual identification (ID) to each virtual machine in the virtualized environment. The processing core stores the virtual ID of the virtual machine in a special register. The mechanism also creates an entry for the virtual machine in a partition table. The mechanism may partition a shared cache using a vertical (way) partition and/or a horizontal partition. The entry in the partition table includes a vertical partition control and a horizontal partition control. For each cache access, the virtual machine passes the virtual ID along with the address to the shared cache. If the cache access results in a miss, the shared cache uses the partition table to select a victim cache line for replacement.

Abstract:
A computer-assisted method for quantitative characterization and treatment of ventricular fibrillation includes preprocessing a time series of an atrial fibrillation signal obtained from a patient, segmenting the time series of the AF signal into activation segments by the computer system, obtaining local activation waveforms (LAW) from the activation segments, determining degrees of similarity between the LAWs, and identifying one or more critical regions in the patient's atria if the LAWs have degrees of similarity exceeding a first threshold value.
Abstract:
A double wing bicycle fender is mounted on a frame pipe of a bicycle. When in use, a fender main body of the roll-up bicycle fender can be pulled out into an operative position at both sides of the shaft to increase the effective width of the fender for blocking the splashing of mud, water and road debris, and can also be rolled up on the shaft and collected in a holding body, thus it not only saves space but is aesthetically pleasing.
Abstract:
A circular stapler with an automatic safety mechanism comprises a stapler body, a stapler head, an actuating mechanism and a transmission adjusting mechanism; wherein the actuating mechanism comprises a handle and a handle coat, the transmission adjusting mechanism comprises a screw rod and an adjusting knob; a stopper is disposed either inside said handle or said handle coat; a safety rod and a pulling sheet are further provided, the safety rod has a safety block on one end and has a protruding block and a pin hole as its middle portion, a cylindrical pin is inserted into the pin hole so as to get the safety rod to be pivotally connected with the stapler body; the pulling sheet has a rear portion mounted on the screw rod and has a pulling hook at its front portion, the pulling hook hooks with the protruding block.
Abstract:
A pair of pruners and its replaceable accessory in which the pair of pruners includes two blades with two handles integrally connected thereto. The two handles are pivotably connected with each other, and one of the two handles has an insertion port and a snapping portion on two ends thereof. The replaceable accessory is connected to the insertion port and can be a finger protection member, an end piece or a function part. A key is connected to one of the two handles so as to control the width that the two blades can be opened.

Abstract:
A shower assembly includes a case having an inner layer which includes a plurality of concavities for storage of the parts of the shower assembly, and an outer layer. Water or sands can be filled in the space between the inner and outer layers. A main pipe unit has a connector connected to an end thereof and a shower head is connected to the connector. The other end of the main pipe unit is connected to the case which provides a solid and heavy base. Water hose is connected to the connector and water goes out from the shower head.
Abstract:
A skateboard includes a deck with two trucks connected to an underside of the deck and each truck has a case with two axles so that two rollers are rotatably connected to the two axles. Two protection members are connected to the two cases respectively and at least one cushion member is connected between respective one of the protection members and respective one of the cases. A rolling shaft is connected each of the two protection members and includes a mediate section which extends out from an opening of the protection member corresponding thereto so as to provide smooth grinding.
