摘要: A melting and casting furnace (1) for the production of directionally solidified or monocrystalline structures includes a housing (2) having a heating apparatus (3), and a cooling ring (4) disposed thereunder, as well as a cooling table (5) for the placement of a mold (6). Numerous radiation shields (8) in a heating zone in the housing, at a distance apart from one another and steer the heat rays onto a small area (A) in order to prevent direct radiation onto the metal already solidified or solidifying. In this manner the temperature gradient between the solidified and the molten can be kept great.

摘要: The parts are heated by conduction and radiation while the chamber is evacuated, whereupon the chamber is sealed air-tight and the parts are also heated by condensation of vapors from the grease and oil. When the parts reach a constant temperature the chamber is again evacuated, causing the temperature of the parts to drop as condensate thereon evaporates. Finally, the chamber is returned to atmospheric pressure and the cleaned parts are removed.

摘要: In a device for identifying the solid-liquid-interface of a melt while withdrawing the poured full ceramic mold 6 from the heater 7, 8 which at least partially encloses the casting mold 6, the mold 6 is at least partially enclosed by two receiving loops 4, 5 disposed in the inside of the heater 7, 8 and a polarizing transmitting loop 13; the induction or receiving loops 4, 5 are coupled with an electric evaluation circuit 9, 10, 11 and polarizing transmitting loop 13 which is connected to a transmitter 14 sends a signal into the casting mold 6 the level of which is sensed by the receiving loops 4, 5 and the so obtained signals create a value for the solidification of the melt in the casting mold 6 by determining the difference of inductivity between ordered, crystalline and disordered, liquid metal mass.
