    摘要: The aim of the invention is to provide pivoting and rotary drives for electric machines with low number of parts economically. Said aim is achieved, by means of a secondary part (4) of circular or arched design. The primary part of the drive has at least two straight primary part segments (1), arranged at a predefined angle to each other in the longitudinal direction thereof to correspond to the shape of the secondary part (4). A pivoting or rotary drive can thus be economically produced with standard linear motor components.

For this purpose, the secondary part (2) is subdivided into at least one first (3) and one second section (4) in the direction of travel (15) of the primary part (1). The secondary part (2), in the first section (3), has a different shape than in the second section (4) and/or is produced from a different material. In this manner, different speeds of the primary part (1) can be achieved on the traveled distance independent of the actuation of the primary part. Optionally, cage windings can be inserted in a section of the secondary part so that said secondary part can be used for passive breaking.

Said aim is achieved by equipping a person conveying system with a synchronous linear motor comprising a rack-shaped, permanent magnet-less secondary part (S) for driving purposes while the primary part of the synchronous linear motor is fixed to the conveying device (K) in or on which persons can be conveyed. If the person conveying system is embodied as a magnetic levitation railway, the synchronous linear motor makes it possible to conserve a significant amount of energy as opposed to an asynchronous linear motor as the permanent magnets provide a certain basic magnetic flux that can be used for supporting the railway car and driving the same in the direction of travel.
