    摘要： A vertical shaft impact crusher has an vertically adjustable feed tube disposed within a throat between a feed hopper of the crusher and the crusher lid of the housing. The feed tube may be adjusted in predetermined discrete increments to within a predetermined distance above an impeller table of the crusher within the housing of the crusher and without removing the hopper of the crusher during such adjustment. The adjustment is achieved by rotating an adjustment ring disposed at an interface between a hopper portion and a lid portion of the throat between the hopper and the lid. The adjustment ring may be held between to adjacent throat flanges to rotate circumferentially about a vertical crusher axis. The feed tube is a two-piece tube which includes an upper, re-usable portion and a lower expendable portion. The feed tube is held within a carrier tube which includes circumferentially spaced adjustment steps. The adjustment ring includes radially inward extending lugs which engage respective steps to support the feed tube at a height determined by the vertical position of the respective steps with respect to the carrier tube. As the ring is rotated in one predetermined direction, the lugs move off one set of steps and the tube drops until the lugs engage an adjacent set of steps of the carrier tube. A circumferential movement of the adjusting ring in the direction opposite to the adjustment rotation of the ring cuases the lugs to engage an undercut disposed at an inner end of each adjustment step.

    摘要： A gyratory crusher includes a flexible dust seal having an outer edge attached to a cone head of the crusher and to an outer of a ball-bearing seal, an inner race of which is attached to a mounting arrangement for rotationally mounting an eccentric member about a crusher axis with a pair of taper bearings and for rotationally mounting the cone head about a cone head axis offset from the crusher axis. The cone head is also mounted on a plurality of hydrostatic bearings. A mantel of the crusher is attached to the cone head by a removable cap nut and mantel stud. The crusher includes a self-contained lubricating system and a hydraulic tramp iron relief system with connections contained internally within structure of a lower frame portion of the crusher. The crusher includes a drive gear centered about the crusher axis and attached directly to the eccentric member. The crusher also includes a thermal relief system adapted to transfer thermal energy from the mounting arrangement to the lower frame portion connected to the mounting arrangement.

    摘要： A rotor for a vertical shaft impact crusher features a unique protector for the trailing edge of each material exit portal of the crusher. The portal protector includes upper and lower "wings" between which is a channel. The wings and channel trail outwardly from the portal and along the periphery of the rotor to create a pair of trailing vortices which confine the exiting material to the periphery of the rotor in order to prevent the material from also spilling over the upper and lower edges of the portal and onto the top of the rotor, thus reducing wear. The peripheral wall of the rotor is protected by symmetrical shell segments having upper and lower lips. Each of the latter is engaged in turn by a symmetrical, segmented rim liner fashioned so that a shell segment can be replaced or moved to even-out wear simply by removing one of its associated segmented rim liners.

    摘要： A gyratory crusher for crushing material having a frame mechanism including a lower frame portion; a crusher head having a bottom surface; a mounting mechanism for pivotally and gyrationally mounting the crusher head on the lower frame portion wherein the mounting mechanism includes a plurality of hydrostatic bearings configured to form a sliding engagement with the bottom surface of the crusher head to operatively support the crusher head; a drive train configured to operatively connect said mounting mechanism to an external power source; and a self-contained lubricating system for operatively lubricating the mounting mechanism and the drive train, wherein the self-contained lubricating system includes a flow divider configured to separately distribute lubricant to each hydrostatic bearing of the plurality of hydrostatic bearings wherein the flow divider is further configured to operatively provide lubricant to each sliding engagement of the plurality of hydrostatic bearings such that the crusher head is slightly elevated from the plurality of hydrostatic bearings, a monitoring system for monitoring the volume rate of lubricant flowing through the flow divider wherein the monitoring system is configured to operatively signal shut-down of the gyratory crusher as the volume rate decreases below a predetermined level, a pressure transducer configured to operatively signal shut-down of the gyratory crusher in the event that pressure of the lubricant to the flow divider decreases below a pre-determined level, and a relief valve configured to prevent pressure of the lubricant to the flow divider from exceeding a pre-determined level.

The flexible member may have a single wall structure with a corrugation-like configuration, or a double wall structure with an inflatable bladder therebetween.
