    摘要: A sealed wheel case is provided for use with a vibratory device for vibrating aggregate material. The vibratory device includes a frame and a rotating shaft extending transversely across the frame, with the shaft having a wheel. The sealed wheel case includes a housing having a base, a peripheral sidewall, and a cover. The housing is sized to receive therein the wheel and is further adapted to house therein a quantity of lubricating oil for lubricating the wheel. A plurality of attachment bolts are provided for securing the housing to the frame. Each of the attachment bolts includes a shank, an inner end disposed within the wheel case and having an inner contact surface, an inner control washer disposed between the inner contact surface and the housing base, with the inner control washer having a first predetermined thickness. The inner control washer includes an aperture therethrough sized to form with the bolt shank an annular cavity, and an O-ring is provided which is sized for insertion in the annular cavity, with the O-ring having a second predetermined thickness greater than the first predetermined thickness. The bolt further includes an outer end disposed outside the wheel case and having an outer contact surface adjacent the frame. Accordingly, in response to securement of each attachment bolt each O-ring is compressed to substantially fill its adjacent annular cavity, thereby preventing the lubricant from escaping the housing.

    摘要: The rotor of an impact crusher includes a locking mechanism for impeller bars which may vary in thickness. The locking mechanism includes a compound wedging mechanism which generates an initial, axial urging force by tightening a bolt at an accessible location on the rotor. The force is translated to a first wedge through a second wedge to urge the first wedge outward into an outward converging gap between a side wall in a disc of the rotor and the impeller bar to seat the bar. The mean width of the first wedge is adjustable to accommodate impeller bars of various thicknesses. A guide track in the rotor and specifically in discs of an "open" rotor locate the second wedge in relationship to the rotor and independently of the width adjustment of the first wedge to maintain a constant point of force application against the first wedge.

    摘要: A sealed wheel case for use on a vibrating aggregate processing device comprises a housing sized to hold a rotatable wheel supported on a shaft, the housing having a base, a peripheral sidewall, and a cover. The cover includes an aperture adapted to receive therethrough a driven portion of the shaft. A seal is disposed adjacent the shaft and the aperture, and an annular baffle is mounted to an inside surface of the cover and extends into the wheel case. The annular baffle is positioned on the inside surface of the cover to generally surrounding the shaft and the seal, and a plurality of attachment bolts are arranged to secure the housing to the frame.

    摘要: A jaw crusher having device for securing the stationary jaw to the frame against side-to-side movement is disclosed. The jaw crusher includes a frame having a generally vertical base extending between a pair of spaced apart side portions, with each of the side portions including an angled ledge spaced from the base. A generally planar stationary jaw is mounted to the base and extends between the frame side portions, with the stationary jaw having a top edge, a bottom edge, and interconnecting side edges. Each of the stationary jaw side edges includes a beveled lug extending along its length. A pair of generally wedge shaped key plates are provided, with each of the key plates being mountable to an adjacent frame side portion and including a beveled first edge adapted to engage an adjacent beveled side lug of the stationary jaw. Each of the key plates further includes a second edge adapted to engage an adjacent ledge of the frame side portion. Accordingly, in response to downward movement of the key plates the stationary jaw is pressed generally horizontally against the frame base with the engaging beveled surfaces of the key plates and the side lugs cooperating to prevent side-to-side movement of the stationary jaw.
