摘要: An aseptic connector includes first and second matable housings each comprising a plurality of connectors for fluid conduits. The fluid conduits enter the housings and may be force-fitted onto barbs or flanges on one side of the connectors, or may instead be molded directly onto the connectors. When the housings are joined, the opposite sides of the connectors mate to form fluid seals, thereby establishing fluid pathways between now-connected sets of tubes.

摘要: A method of tracking cell identity across analytical platforms uses stochastic barcoding (SB). SB uses a randomly generated code based on one or more of the number, color and position of beads encapsulated together with a set of cells of interest. SB use is demonstrated in an application where cells are transferred from a microwell array into a microtitre plate while keeping their identity, and obtained an average identification accuracy of 96% for transfer of 100 blocks. Model scaling of the method up to 1000 blocks demonstrated that SB is able to achieve approximately 90% accuracy.

摘要: A monomolecular rectifying wire is provided that includes a molecular conducting wire that has been modified to embed a rectifying diode integrally therein. The modified conducting wire includes an electron donating section, an electron accepting section, and an insulating group separating the electron donating and accepting sections. Monomolecular logical gates and more complex logic structures that operate by the conduction of electrical currents are constructed by combinations of molecular rectifying wires, molecular conducting wires, and molecular resistive wires to form a single molecule that electrically exhibits a desired Boolean logic function.
