    摘要: Planet gears of a planetary gearing system for a vehicle drive wheel are mounted on a carrier for orbital motion around a motor-driven sun gear and transmit drive at reduced speed to a ring gear which turns the wheel hub. Each planet gear is fastened to the carrier through a bearing and axle pin having ends which extend through support bores in the carrier. Lubricant is maintained around the carrier and each axle pin has a lubricant passage with an outlet directed toward the bearing and with an inlet facing in the direction of orbital motion of the axle pin to cause such motion to force lubricant into the passage. Longitudinal movement of all axle pins and also angular motion of all axle pins relative to the supporting carrier is prevented by a single unitary retainer element secured to a surface of the carrier and having edge portions which extend into a linear slot in the sidewall of each axle pin.

    摘要: A mounting arrangement for a hydraulic motor having a pivotal swash plate and an axially extending drive shaft includes a support structure having an open ended bore formed therein to receive the hydraulic motor and a mounting bracket journalled to the drive shaft of the hydraulic motor. The mounting bracket has a pair of spaced apart lugs which extend toward the hydraulic motor and pivotally engage the swash plate, and an annular pilot portion disposed coaxial with the drive shaft and piloted into a pilot bore formed in an end wall of the support structure opposite to the open end of the bore with the mounting bracket being secured to the end wall.

    摘要: An apparatus, system, and method are disclosed for ensuring query execution plan stability in a database management system. The present invention binds a static database query to a new query execution plan (QEP) that produces the same result set as an original QEP bound to the static database query. Next, the present invention identifies one of the original QEP and the new QEP as a primary QEP and automatically collects execution statistics for the original QEP and the new QEP. Finally, the present invention automatically selects one of the original QEP and the new QEP as the primary QEP in response to completion of the automatic collection of execution statistics, the primary QEP selected such that the automatically selected QEP provides optimal execution performance based on performance criteria in comparison to the automatically unselected QEP, the primary QEP selected based on the execution statistics.

The method includes a query engine determining whether a first OR predicate and a second OR predicate map to a shared index. Responsive to the query engine determining that the first OR predicate and the second OR predicate map to the shared index, the first OR predicate and the second OR predicate are ordered in an ascending sequence. A first range of the first OR predicate is queued. A first row of the shared index is probed for the first range of the first OR predicate. Whether the first row is disqualified by the first OR predicate is determined. Responsive to determining that the first row is not disqualified by the first OR predicate, the row is reported in a result reporting structure. Responsive to determining that the row is disqualified by the first OR predicate, whether the first range of the first OR predicate overlaps a second range of the second OR predicate is determined, and, responsive to determining that the first range of the first OR predicate overlaps the second range of the second OR predicate, the row is checked against second range of the second or predicate.

    摘要: The invention relates to a tennis ball holder and storage apparatus incorporated with a garment to be worn by a tennis player. The garment is previded with a hook element and a loop element of a hook and loop connector. The hook element is attached to the garment along a pocket open end and the loop element is attached to a pocket flap which exteds over the pocket opening such that the hook and loop elements will be aligned and engaged. The hook element on the garment can further be engaged with the nap surface on a standard tennis ball to thereby attach the ball to the garment. A pouch having a loop portion of a hook and loop fastener attached along its upper edge and adjacent its opening is provided. The loop portion on the pouch can be engaged with the hook element on the garment to thereby provide the garment with an auxiliary pocket for holding tennis balls.
