摘要: Schedulers, Planners, and Maintenance Supervisors in an Industrial facility can use the user interface of the present invention to extremely quickly move work order schedules, status planning, and manage resources. Additionally, key performance indicators or metrics on performance on how well the organization is doing is also cumbersome if not impossible in the current practice in these industrial organizations. The variables of this management include worker, crew, Work Order, Dates, Planning Status, planner, dates, etc. (see tech manual and summary sheets). The invention operates by interfacing with the CMMS database in a thoroughly interactive process. The local program constructs a parallel database and reads and feedbacks to the CMMS database frequently to stay current and accurate.

摘要: An apparatus is provided for use as an onboard monitor and warning system attached to a fiberglas boom to detect potentially hazardous loads by detecting and counting acoustic emissions produced in the boom by the breakage of glass fibers. The monitor and warning system produce a warning signal when the number of acoustic emissions detected in a selected period of time indicates the existence of a potentially hazardous load. The apparatus includes a piezoelectric transducer which may be placed in contact with the surface of the fiberglas to produce electrical signals corresponding to pressure waves detected in the fiberglas. Apparatus is provided for distinguishing by the electrical signals those pressure waves which are acoustic emissions associated with the breakage of glass fibers from all other pressure waves. Further apparatus is provided for counting each electrical signal associated with fiber breakage, for selecting a period of time during which the electrical signals associated with fiber breakage will be accumulated, and for producing a warning signal when the number of electrical signals associated with fiber breakage during the selected time period indicates the existence of a potentially hazardous load.

摘要: A system includes a vehicle control module, an operating information module, and a fuel analysis module. The vehicle control module is configured to obtain a trip plan for the vehicle. The operating information module is configured to be disposed on-board the vehicle and to autonomously obtain operating information describing one or more of tractive events or braking events performed during the trip. The fuel analysis module is configured to be disposed on-board the vehicle, to receive the operating information from the operating information module, and to autonomously determine a fuel consumption for at least a portion of the trip using the operating information received from the operating information module.

摘要: A sound recording system is used in conjunction with a conventional camera (C) that by itself cannot record sounds. A sound recorder (100) has a mounting device (120, 190), a microphone (110), and a sound record switch (130) that is placed adjacent the shutter button when the recorder is mounted on the camera. A removable “Sound Stick” (200) is inserted into the sound recorder (100) through an opening (170). The “Sound Stick” contains memories (230) that record sound segments. A playback device, which may be separate or combined with the recorder is provided, into which the “Sound Stick” plugs into for downloading and playback of the sound segments. The “Sound Stick” includes a reading head (270) that can scan a bar code that correlates the sound segments with the pictures.

摘要: A device for monitoring and verifying the operation of a rotating source, such as a rotating civil defense-type siren being tested by sounding the siren for a short period of time, employs a sensor mounted near the siren. The signal from the sensor is amplified, filtered and converted to a sinusoidal signal of the same frequency as the rotation of the siren. The sinusoidal signal is processed to sense siren turn-on, to determine whether the siren rotates more than a predetermined minimum number of times, and to sense siren turn-off. This information is stored and displayed by the device until it can be inspected by an individual, and can be relayed to a remote site.
