    摘要: A method for analyzing spectra comprises identifying a set of sample peaks in a sample spectrum, where the sample peaks are associated with fragments of a sample, each having a sample fragment mass. A reference spectrum is selected with one or more reference peaks corresponding to fragments of a reference, each having a reference fragment mass. A mass difference can be determined between selected sample and reference peaks, and a group exchange can be selected based on the mass difference; e.g., where the group exchange represents a change in the sample or reference fragment masses associated with the selected peaks. The selected peaks can be shifted by the mass difference, and a fit value can be determined with respect to the reference spectrum. The fit value characterizes similarity between the respective sets of sample and reference peaks, responsive to the group exchange and corresponding peak shift.

    摘要: A calibration process for use in calibrating intelligent cable modules. A separate calibration load cell is provided. This device is placed in the load path for the cable on which the intelligent cable module is installed. The calibration load cell then establishes a communication link with the intelligent cable module. An iterative series of loading cycles are started. Tension data as measured by the calibration load cell is used to create a calibration curve. This calibration curve is used to correlate internal measurements made by the intelligent cable module against a desired value—such as cable tension.

    摘要: A method includes retrieving capacity utilization data for a plurality of resources and applying a linear regression analysis on the capacity utilization data. The method further includes projecting, using a processor, the capacity utilization data through a future time based on results of the linear regression analysis. The method additionally includes determining a deviation from a predetermined threshold range in the projected capacity utilization data for a first resource, and, in response to determining the deviation, determining, for each of a plurality of resource configurations, future capacity utilization of the first resource based on a non-linear capacity consumption model corresponding to the resource configuration. The method also includes applying a selected resource configuration from the plurality of resource configurations to the first resource to prevent the first resource from deviating from the predetermined threshold range.

    摘要: A method for storing personalized voicemail messages for a plurality of stored contacts initially prompts the user to record a customized voicemail message for each of the plurality of stored contacts. When received, the customized voicemail message is assigned to at least one selected contact from the plurality of stored contacts. The customized voicemail message is played to a caller, if a telephone number of the caller matches with the telephone number associated with the at least one selected contact. In order to do so, the telephone number of the caller is compared with the telephone number of each of the plurality of stored contacts. The customized voicemail can contain a voice message and also a designated number of alert tones which are played before the voice message is heard.

    摘要: An anchor having an internal passage defined by a revolved wall profile. The anchor is conceptually divided into four regions: a neck region, a transition region, a mid region, and a distal region. Each of these regions has its own design considerations. A portion of a parabola is used to define at least part of the revolved wall profile. The parabolic portion is preferably used in at least the neck and mid regions. In order to create a tangency condition proximate the neck anchor boundary, the parabola used to create the wall profile is angularly offset from the wall profile's axis of rotation.

    摘要: A mixing syringe having a first sealed chamber containing a powder (powder housing) and a second sealed chamber containing a liquid (liquid housing). When the user needs to inject a patient, he or she holds the mixing syringe approximately upright and depresses a plunger. This motion causes a piercer to pierce a foil seal separating the two chambers. The liquid then drops down into the powder housing. The liquid flows through a passage in a piston located in the powder housing, where it then comes in contact with the powder itself. As the user continues pressing the plunger downward, the piercer comes to rest within the piston and seals the passage through the piston, thereby locking the piercer and piston together. The device is then ready for an injection. As the plunger is further depressed the piston expels the powder and liquid mixture through a needle.
