    Abstract: A computer-implemented, cloud-based productivity tool incorporates a user interface configured to: (a) prompt the user to input a set of unstructured text strings; (b) allow the user to categorize the set of unstructured text strings in accordance with a set of categories provided by the user; (c) sequence the categorized text strings; (d) summarize the categorized text strings; and (e) produce an output based on the foregoing. In this way—by using a form of “reverse mind-mapping”—a user can quickly enter his or her thoughts in a free-form way and then subsequently organize that information in accordance with emergent categories that become apparent to the user through the process provided by the tool. A social aspect is provided to allow shared thinking between subscribers through text communication. In addition, a journaling module is provided for extracting insights from writing that accumulates over time.

    Abstract: A hand tool impacting device may include, a drive shaft with an aperture, an impaler disk, and a floating pin positioned within the aperture of the drive shaft. A set of circular ramps on the outer edge of the impaler disk may interact with a stationary pin insert to translate the drive shaft and create an impacting motion. A pair of springs placed against either side of the floating pin may allow a specialized tool bit to engage or disengage the impaler disk, thereby allowing selective use of translational impacting motion, or rotational torque. An impact bit for engaging the impaler disk may include, a tool head configured to engage a work piece and a tool shaft configured to be inserted into a hollow drive shaft to engage a floating pin. According to one embodiment, the impact bit includes a number of sleeves to guide the tool head during operation.

    Abstract: A water distribution valve, ideally suited for distributing water from a recirculating pump of a swimming pool to selective outlet lines, is designed with a main housing in the form of an outer cylindrical section. This main housing has outlet ports located through the peripheral surface thereof at equal angular spaced intervals. These outlet openings are located in a plane which is perpendicular to the central axis of the main housing. A fluid distribution member, in the form of a T-shaped body, is rotatably mounted inside the main housing member. The base or stem of the T is connected with a water inlet; and one arm of the T has a fluid delivery opening in it for delivering water from the inlet through the opening. The fluid delivery opening in the arm is designed for mating alignment with a selected one of the outlet openings in the main housing; so that when the T is rotated into alignment with one of these openings, water is delivered from a pump, through the inlet, to the fluid delivery opening and from there, through the selected fluid outlet opening in the main housing.
