    摘要: A dynamic spinal stabilization assembly includes a rod having a plurality of slidable collars thereon. The rod is mounted to at least one of the relevant bone anchoring element(s) via the collars. The collars are spaced from one another such that the bone anchoring element engages at least two collars. The collars may be arranged on the rod so that adjacent collars are longitudinally spaced from one another by a distance not more than one-half the length of the rod-receiving channel in the relevant bone anchoring element. There may be elastic elements slidably disposed on the rod between adjacent collars.

    摘要: An intervertebral device for spacing apart vertebral members comprises a plurality of stackable shims including at least a first shim and a second shim. The first shim includes a first body with a first portion of a male-female connector, and a removable guide that is affixed to the first body and extends along at least a portion of the first body. The second shim includes a second body with a second portion of the male-female connector. A longitudinal passage extends through the second body and is sized to receive the guide on the first body. The second shim is moveable relative to the first shim with the guide disposed in the passage between a disengaged position and an engaged position. In the engaged position, the first shim is stacked on the second shim.

In one embodiment, the device includes a plurality of stackable shims that includes at least a first shim and a second shim.     摘要: The present application is directed to implants with inner and outer members positioned in a telescoping arrangement. The members may include helical supports to selectively adjust the height of the implant. The helical supports offer a large contact surface to prevent inadvertent reduction of the length due to application of a compressive force. In some embodiments, the helical support members may be shaped to facilitate movement of the members to increase the height. The shape may further prevent movement that would decrease the height. Some embodiments may also prevent relative rotation of the members. In use, the inner and outer members are moved apart to adjust the height of the implant to space apart the vertebral members. The members may further be constructed to prevent the members from moving together after insertion between the vertebral members.

    摘要: The present application is directed to devices and methods for spacing and/or positioning spinous processes of vertebral members. The device may include a first wing to position on a first lateral side of spinous processes and a second wing to position on a second lateral side of spinous processes. An intermediate member extends between the wings and fits within the interspinous space. The device may be selectively adjustable from a first orientation with the second wing received by the intermediate member. This first orientation may include a reduced sized to facilitate insertion of the device with a lateral approach into the interspinous space. The device may also be moved to a second orientation with the wing deployed from the intermediate member. The second orientation may provide for the second wing to be positioned on the second side of the spinous process opposite from the first wing. The intermediate member may be positioned within the interspinous space to retain a predetermined distraction height.
