摘要: A methodology for grafting together adjacent bony structures is provided using an implant device having an endplate with an inner disc portion and outer ring portion spaced from the inner disc portion by a connecting wall disposed there between. An endplate interior surface includes a retaining structure for securing the endplate to one of the bony structures, and endplate an exterior surface has an integrally formed socket. A ball-joint rod has a longitudinally extending body and an end, and at least a portion of the ball-joint rod end is curvilinear in shape. The curvilinear ball-joint rod end is rotatably disposed in the endplate socket to fixedly interconnect the bony structures.

摘要: The present disclosure discloses a cage with an adjustable height with posterior bone grafting, comprising: a main body, a blade assembly fitted to the main body, and a pushing assembly fitted to the blade assembly, wherein an end cover is interference-fitted on one end face of the main body, the main body comprising a screw section, a side section integrally connected to two ends of the screw section respectively, and an opening section integrally connected to the side section, where a threaded through-hole is provided on the screw section, and an opening through-hole is provided on the opening section, the pushing assembly comprising a first U-shaped base and a threaded rod fixedly connected to the first U-shaped base, wherein the threaded rod passes through the first U-shaped base, and a pin is fixedly connected to an end, close to the threaded rod, of the first U-shaped base. According to the present disclosure, the structure is designed and operated conveniently, the damage to human body is minimized, the cage is expanded to reach the height of intervertebral space required by the patient, and the space of the bone grafting chamber of the cage is increased after the expansion, so as to meet the need of continuous bone grafting.

摘要: A joint spacer therapeutically maintains separation of bones of a joint. A carriage is slideably retained within the frame and has at least one ramped surface. An actuator screw is threadably engaged with the frame, and rotatably connected to the carriage, to cause the carriage to slideably move within the frame when the actuator screw is rotated. First and second endplates engage the bones of the joint, and each has at least one ramped surface that is mateable with the ramped surface of the carriage, whereby when the carriage is slideably moved by rotation of the actuator screw, the endplates ramped surface slides against the carriage ramped surface to cause the endplates to move along an axis transverse to the longitudinal axis of the frame, to increase the height of the spacer. Piercing elements are connected to the carriage to pierce bone of the joint when the carriage is moved.

摘要: Described herein are systems and methods for the placement and design of the stability components of implant systems. Further, stability component assemblies, such as dual-mobility assemblies, for implant systems are also described herein. The systems and methods include using a standing sacral slope and a sitting sacral slope associated with a spine of a patient, determining a spine mobility based on the standing sacral slope and the sitting sacral slope, receiving poses of the implant system components, determining contact points between the components and locations of at least one of the components through a range of motion, receiving updated inclination and anteversion angles for the stability components of the implant system, and outputting an updated configuration for the stability component.

摘要: A dilation introducer for orthopedic surgery is provided for minimally invasive access for insertion of an intervertebral implant. The dilation introducer may be used to provide an access position through Kambin's triangle from a posterolateral approach. A first dilator tube with a first longitudinal axis is provided. An access cannula may be introduced over the first dilator tube. A drill may be inserted through the access cannula and used to perform a foraminoplasty, Surgical instruments may pass through the access cannula to operate on an intervertebral disc and/or insert an intervertebral implant.

摘要: The invention relates to a medical device for treating hip joint osteoarthritis in a human patient by providing at least one artificial hip joint surface, the hip joint comprising a natural acetabulum, being a part of the pelvic bone, and a caput femur being a part of the femoral bone, and having a partly spherical form having a largest diameter, wherein said medical device comprises: a prosthetic part or a bone plug configured to be placed in a hole created in the pelvic bone. The invention is characterized in that said medical device further comprises a supporting member connected to said prosthetic part or bone plug. The supporting member is configured to be inserted into said hole from the abdominal side of the acetabulum, and be placed in contact with the bone surrounding the hole on the acetabulum side of the pelvic bone, for carrying load placed on caput femur from the weight of said human patient. Further, the prosthetic part or a bone plug has a diameter not exceeding the diameter of the natural acetabulum.
