摘要:
A weaving machine, more particularly a projectile weaving machine (100), has weft break clearing devices (1, 2) at the shed entrance and exit. These devices form units with grippers and, for example, a suction device for removing a broken weft (110) and are mounted for pivoting or displacing them with an actuator or manually out of range of the warps. The mobility of the devices (1, 2) allows the weaver unrestricted access, for example, when clearing a warp break in the selvedge area.

A pivotally mounted yarn guiding member is disposed between a weft yarn injector and a shed of warp yarns to effect drawing in of a fresh weft yarn as well as extraction of a broken weft yarn from the loom. The yarn guiding member is pivotable into a bottom position after receiving a fresh yarn end to deflect the yarn about a centering vane so that a shears may cut the yarn to form a fresh yarn tip for subsequent picking. The yarn guiding member is pivotable between a central position and a top position after receiving a loop of a broken weft yarn so as to extract the broken end of the yarn from within the shed or from the point upstream of the injector nozzle. An extraction duct is also provided on the exit side of the shed to extract the broken piece of the weft yarn via a reciprocating motion and suction. A hooked needle is also provided to effect formation of a loop of yarn for extraction by the yarn guiding member when a brake occurs upstream of the injector nozzle.

Method for making plastic fiber for application in concrete with largest grain diameters >4 mm, with an average diameter of 0.15 to 2 mm, corresponding to approximately 160 to 28,000 dtex. Using a co-extrusion process, a bi-component fiber is formed having a central core and a casing around the central core, the central core and the casing contain different pure polymers or polymer mixtures, and then the co-extruded bi-component fiber is stretched by a factor of 5 to 15, and thereafter a structured or grooved surface is embossed onto the co-extruded stretched bi-component fiber. The embossing is performed such that a depth of the embossing is more than 10% of an average fiber diameter, and a maximal distances of structure tips within incorporated structures of the embossing in an axial direction lie in a region between 0.5 mm and 3 mm.

In a device for a drawing a weft yarn (2) into a loom a continuous guide duct combined from tubular members (54, 55) is interrupted at places so that various operating elements such as a yarn brake (62) or a yarn tensioner (72) can act on the weft yarn (2). The weft yarn (2) is in these cases deflected transversely to the direction of movement through the tubular members, and so the tubular members (54, 55) are formed near the deflection station with slots extending from one deflecting station (63) to the other (63'). The device enables the weft yarn to be drawn in automatically by means of compressed air.

The core/casing-fibre consists of plastic such as polypropylene, polyethylene or a mixture of these raw materials or other thermoplastic polymers. The fibre diameter is 0.15 to 2.0 mm and the core/casing-fibre in a continuous or intermittent manner has a structured surface. This is produced by an embossing (5) which designed in a single-sided or multi-sided manner, and its depth is at least 10% of the average fibre diameter. The embossing (5) may be designed in a transverse or diagonal manner or in another shape to the fibre course, but in any case is incorporated after a stretching of the fibre by the factor 5 to 15. The core/casing-fibre is cut in section of 10 to 80 mm and grouped together into bundles of several thousand and wrapped in a water-soluble plastic film. Such fibres are used for increasing the tensile strength, for improving the post-failure behaviour or generally for the mechanical reinforcement in cement-bonded building materials, in particular concrete. The bundles may be worked into the building material together with the plastic film without any disadvantages.

The gripper projectile has a housing (1), a weft yarn clip (2) and a connector element (3) in order to connect the housing and the weft yarn clip. Furthermore, unitary portions protruding outward from the outer side of each respective leg are provided for biasing the clip legs in order to produce a predetermined gripping force, with the gripping force setting itself automatically on assembly of the weft yarn clip.

For the Raschel goods the threads are provided in longitudinal direction, are interconnected by loop and loop, wherein the threads consist of glass. The Raschel goods are produced by means of two guide bars, wherein the first guide bar provides alternately loop and loop and the second guide bar in reverse rhythm at the same time, and wherein the threads are supplied under predetermined bias.
