Abstract:
A merchandise display hook for displaying items of merchandise includes a support rod and a helix disposed about the support rod and extending along at least a lengthwise portion of the support rod. The support rod includes mounting structure for mounting the display hook to a display fixture and has a first end adjacent the mounting structure and a second end opposite the first end adjacent the helix for loading the items of merchandise onto the support rod and for dispensing the items of merchandise from the support rod. The merchandise display hook further includes a time delay mechanism attached to the helix adjacent the second end of the support rod so as to define a space therebetween for loading and dispensing the items of merchandise. The time delay mechanism includes a gear assembly configured for permitting the items of merchandise to be loaded onto the support rod at a rate that is faster than the rate at which the items of merchandise can be dispensed from the support rod.
Abstract:
A product dispensing system including a container that defines an internal volume and an access opening into the internal volume, at least one product received in the internal volume and a biasing assembly extendable into the internal volume to urge the product toward the access opening, wherein the container is engaged with the biasing assembly when the biasing assembly extends into the internal volume.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an arrangement for storing at least photographic prints. The arrangement of the present invention is in the form of an envelope or wallet-type member and includes a tab arrangement which permits a user to customize the location of the tabs on the wallet-type member. The tab arrangement comprises removable tabs on the wallet-type member which provides a customer with the opportunity to chose which tab is to be used for providing identifying information on the envelope. Further, the wallet-type member includes a planar member which is adapted to have an opening to reveal an index print or a photographic print representative of the prints stored in the wallet-type member. The opening and the tab or tabs are provided on the same side or the same planar member of the wallet-type member so as to enable the viewing of both the tab or tabs and the displayed index or photographic print at the same time.
Abstract:
An index card for any index file (such as a lateral or flat index file or a rotary index file) is divided into upper and lower portion by a pair of score lines that extend inwardly from the lateral edges thereof and terminate at cut lines extending parallel to the side edges of the card. The cut lines extend parallel to the side edges of the card are interconnected by a cut line extending substantially parallel to the top and bottom of the card to thereby form a tab that extends from a folded edge formed when the upper portion of the card is folded about the score lines to overlie the lower portion of the card. Accordingly, indicia may be printed on the tab will be immediately available to the user of the file.
Abstract:
A method for assisting in the dispensing of pharmaceuticals is provided including the steps of: (1) determining what pharmaceutical needs to be restocked; (2) selecting a pharmaceutical distribution container corresponding to the pharmaceutical needing to be restocked, with the container including a tray and a sleeve. The tray has a base, a sidewall, and pharmaceutical retaining means within the tray, with such pharmaceutical retaining means including a rod, with the rod having a first and a second end and packets containing one each of the pharmaceutical needing to be restocked; (3) removing the tray from the sleeve; (4) removing the rod from the tray; and (5) transferring a predetermined number of packets from the rod to a restocking cart so the packets can be restocked.
Abstract:
A self-adjusting storage rack for holding vertically stationery, envelopes, letters, file folders, cards, photos, magazines and similar flat surface articles. The device comprises of two upright ends mounted on a base of two flat telescopic rods; a third central telescopic rod acts as a guide for a elastic, expandable and continuous multi-coil; each end coil is attached to an upright end so that one upright may be manually pulled out, extending the length of the rack to the full length permitted by the telescopic rods or any length in between. The elastic coil between the two uprights adjust itself accordingly.
Abstract:
A card organizer device (10) supported in a cabinet (12) for depositing cards (14) moved into the card organizer device into the cabinet, is described. The card organizer device is comprised of a plurality of elongate, side-by-side holders (40, 42, 44, 46) each having a plurality of compartments (94, 98, 102, 106) for receiving cards that have been first sorted and then moved through the open top of the holders and into the compartments. The holders are also provided with open bottoms. This provides for depositing the cards into boxes (32, 34, 36 and 38) formed in the cabinet when the card organizer device is removed from the cabinet. That way, the cards lay in the boxes of the cabinet in a fanned and sorted order. The sorted cards can then be removed from the cabinet and placed back into a conventional set box container. The sorted cards can then be held in the set box container for appreciation or resale. A cover (114) is also provided that mounts over the cards and the card organizer device mounted in the cabinet to protect the sorted cards.
Abstract:
An improved index card for use in conjunction with a rotary card file or the like includes means for displaying a business card. Slots, flaps, or adhesives may be used to secure the card to the index card. In one embodiment, the index card includes a frame which is folded over the business card to give a framed finished appearance. In some cases, the business card is removably secured to the index card, while in others, the business card is permanently secured to the index card.
Abstract:
A storage unit, such as a letter tray or a file holder, preferably of plastics, and comprising a bottom member and at least two side members. The storage unit is characterized in that the bottom member is connected to the side members by means of snap locks. The side members can also be interconnected by means of snap locks. The storage unit is particularly secure and stable and has simultaneously an attractive appearance.
Abstract:
A modulable oblique bin, in particular for the sorting of documents, which includes a series of compartments laid out side by side within a container having two parallel vertical walls connected to each other at the lower ends thereof by a horizontal wall. The compartments consist of a plurality of obliquely-oriented divider units nested together and disposed within the container, each dividing unit having first, second, third and fourth planar sections connected together in series in end-to-end relationship to form a unit having a W-shaped cross-section. The adjacent sections are at right angles to each other and form inner and outer corners at the intersection of said sections. The first section extends obliquely upward from the horizontal wall and is the longest of the four sections, the second section is next longest, and the third section is the shortest section. The inner corner formed by the intersection of the third and the fourth sections of the units receives the outer corner formed by the intersection of the first and second sections of the next succeeding divider unit. A final divider unit nests against the last of the divider units having a W-shaped cross-section and consists of first, second and third planar sections which are analogous to the first, second and third sections, respectively, of the units having a W-shaped cross-section. The second section of the final divider unit is provided with a pair of lateral guide means for retaining the fourth section of the immediately preceding divider unit against the lower surface of the second section of the final divider unit.
