    摘要: Systems and apparatus are provided for head-mountable cockpit displays for providing information related to an aircraft system to a user. A cockpit display system comprises an eyeglass frame adapted for wearing on the head of the user. The eyeglass frame has a perimeter defining a field of view. A display element is mechanically coupled to the eyeglass frame and aligned with a bottom portion of the field of view. Display electronics are coupled to the display element, and an avionics system is coupled to the display electronics. The display electronics are configured to render an image of a cockpit instrument panel associated with the avionics system on the display element.

    摘要: Methods and apparatus are provided for securing the transfer of data over the internet from malicious interference. The apparatus comprises a computing device and a data storage device in operable communication with the computing device. The apparatus also includes a set of high assurance security instructions resident on the data storage device and executing within the computing device and at least one input/output interface. The method comprises receiving data via a first communication interface and storing the data in a memory device and initiating an unsecured data indication. The method also provides for receiving an authentication code via the first communication interface and decoding the authentication code and determining the authenticity of the data. If the authentication code fails to indicate authenticity then the data is deleted. If the authentication code indicates authenticity, then the data is transferred to a destination device via a second communication interface.

In one embodiment, an electronics mounting adapter device comprises: a base member that includes a cavity and at least one cable stabilizing element configured to secure a cable connector of a cable within the cavity, wherein the cable is routed though an opening in the base member into the cavity; a cover coupled to the base member by at least one fastener; one or more mounting provisions for securing the base member to a mounting surface; and at least one clamping element configured to clamp a dongle within the cavity, wherein the dongle is coupled to the cable connector.

The armrest assembly includes, but is not limited to, a base member configured for mounting to the horizontal surface proximate the first control device in a position aligned with the first and the second control devices. The armrest assembly also includes an arm support member movably mounted to the base member. The arm support member is configured to move between a first position and a second position. The arm support member is configured to steady a user's arm when accessing the first control device when the arm support member is in the first position.     摘要: In the present invention, a method is provided for installing and locating a plurality of sensors distributed on a structure as part of a structural health monitoring system. The method includes verifying the proper installation of the plurality of sensors and determining the location of the plurality of sensors. In one aspect of the present invention, the step of verifying the proper installation further comprises verifying that each of the plurality of sensors are properly coupled to a sensor data collector and verifying that each of the plurality of sensors are installed in a proper location. In another aspect of the present invention, the step of determining the location of the plurality of sensors further comprises determining the positioning of each sensor in reference to fixed structures in the structure.

In one embodiment, a system for transmitting files to a remote vehicle comprises: a communication system onboard the remote vehicle; at least one processor onboard the remote vehicle coupled to the communication system; and at least one storage device comprising a database, the at least one storage device further comprising computer executable instructions which when executed by the at least one processor implement a data checking functionality process comprising: generating a security file at the remote vehicle from an uplinked file received by a communication system; verifying integrity of the uplinked file using the security file; when integrity of the uplinked file is confirmed, accepting the uplinked file; and when integrity of the uplinked file is not confirmed, rejecting the uplinked file.
