摘要: A heat-dissipating structure of a disc drive comprises a tray and a diversion plate. The tray has a body with a concavity loading surface for loading a disc to be in and out the disc drive, and the loading surface has a central hole. Further the diversion plate is disposed on one side of the loading surface, and connected to the loading surface, wherein the diversion plate extends downward and slopes from the connection of the diversion plate and the loading surface.

摘要: A flexible printed circuit for electrically connecting a disk tray to a chassis of an optical disk drive has a base layer, a copper layer, and a cover layer. The copper layer is attached to the base layer by a first adhesive layer, and has a plurality of separate electrical wires and a ground area. The cover layer has a cutout area corresponding to the ground area, and is attached to the copper layer by a second adhesive layer. A third adhesive layer is electrically conductive and used for attaching the cover layer to the chassis of the optical disk drive. Wherein the third adhesive layer is electrically connected to the ground area of the copper layer through the cutout area, the static charges accumulated on the copper layer will be discharged to the chassis.

摘要: The present invention relates to a mechanism for guiding airflows within an optical disc drive, in which the optical disc drive comprises a chassis having a side wall and a tray for loading or unloading a disc. The guide mechanism of the present invention includes at least one guide passage which is protruded outwardly from the side wall of the chassis and has two guiding oblique surfaces at its both ends. Further, the guide passage is positioned on an extended line of a diameter of the disc normal to the side wall of the chassis. The airflows produced by the revolving disc is guided to flow through the guide passage. According to the guide mechanism the shocks, jarring, and noise of the optical disc drive is minimized.

摘要: A flexible printed circuit for electrically connecting a disk tray to a chassis of an optical disk drive has a base layer, a copper layer, and a cover layer. The copper layer is attached to the base layer by a first adhesive layer, and has a plurality of separate electrical wires and a ground area. The cover layer has a cutout area corresponding to the ground area, and is attached to the copper layer by a second adhesive layer. A third adhesive layer is electrically conductive and used for attaching the cover layer to the chassis of the optical disk drive. Wherein the third adhesive layer is electrically connected to the ground area of the copper layer through the cutout area, the static charges accumulated on the copper layer will be discharged to the chassis.

摘要: A method for manufacturing the roller carrier of a vibration balance device, the roller carrier is installed with at least one round track around a rotary axis thereof for carrying a plurality of rollers; characterized in that: the roller carrier is made of alloy powder and made by a process of metal powder metallurgy. The material of the powder is SUS-316L or other proper alloy powder. The manufacturing process of the metal powder metallurgy includes the steps of: feeding material, compacting, sintering, and sizing, or other manufacturing process of the metal powder metallurgy (MIM) can be used, which includes the steps of feeding material, pelletizing, injection molding, debinding, sintering, and sizing. The roller carrier from aforementioned processes uses less materials, can be mass-produced, has a precise dimension, is light weighted, has a smooth surface and has a high surface hardness. In other word, the roller carrier made from the manufacturing process of metal powder metallurgy not only has preferred physical properties, such as good hardness, smoothness and precision, but also can reduce the vibration from the eccentricity of rotation. Moreover, the manufacturing cost can be reduced greatly and yield is increased. Therefore, the present invention is economical.

A tray locking mechanism includes a base fixed to the tray, a locking device installed on the base for combining with or separating from a stop pin of the main body, a transmission device installed on the base for driving the locking device, and a control device installed on the base for stopping the transmission device. 摘要: Turntable runout of an optical disk drive is corrected by the application of at least three skidproof rubber pads affixed to the turntable on a circle and separated by equal angles. The height of each of the skidproof rubber pads is selected to adjust the runout of the turntable at each location. The invention accomplishes the compensation of turntable runout where, traditionally, lathe-turning was required.

摘要: A disk recording/reading apparatus for recording/reading a disk is provided. The disk recording/reading apparatus includes a case, a tray, a turntable and an optical pickup unit. The tray is inside the case and has a concave trough and a concave trough extension portion. The concave trough is used for accommodating a disk, and the concave trough extension portion stretches from the concave trough to a side of the tray front end and has an opening passing through the tray. The turntable is disposed below the tray for driving the disk. Wherein, at least a spinning airflow below the disk is suitable for being expelled from the opening of the concave trough extension portion to reduce the noise caused by air turbulence and the vibration during disk spin.
