摘要： A pregripper configuration in a sheet-fed rotary printing press feeds single sheets to a rotating cylinder. A cam drive includes a main cam and a roller lever which pivots about a frame-fixed shaft. A lever mechanism, which is articulated to the roller lever and a pregripper pivot arm, transmits the motion of the cam-following roller lever to the pivot arm. The pivot arm is also pivoted about a frame-fixed shaft. In order to compensate for play in the lever mechanism, a pretensioned spring is disposed between an attachment point on the roller lever and an attachment point on the pivot arm. In one embodiment, the pretensioned spring extends approximately parallel to a rigid link connected in articulated fashion between the roller lever and the pivot arm. In another embodiment, the spring is attached to a compensating cam drive.

The dampening unit has at least one form roller engageable with the plate cylinder, a dipping roller dipping into dampening medium contained in a dampening-medium tank, at least one intermediate roller provided between the form roller and dipping roller, adjusting means through which the form roller is engageable with the plate cylinder and the intermediate roller with the form roller and the dipping roller, and a device for preventing any permanent deformation on the elastic outer cylindrical surface when the printing press is at a standstill.

摘要： A control device for a numbering and imprinting unit of a rotary printing press is taught. The unit has a numbering cylinder removably mounted in the printing press side frames and is engageable, via eccentric bearings, at an impression cylinder. The unit has an inking unit for inking printing elements disposed on the numbering cylinder. The inking unit is designed as a removable unit. The control device has a control shaft and switching elements for engaging and disengaging respectively the numbering cylinder, for switching numbering units, and for adjusting the respective paper thickness to be processed, with the individual switching operations on the numbering and imprinting unit being optimized and effected independently of the offset printing machine.

摘要： A method and a system for producing a printing form for a printing process on a printing press, produces a first printing form based on first image data and prints a printing image on a printing substrate with the printing form. Printing presses without inking zones do not permit regulation of quantitative ink supply with inking zones screws. To permit a printer to manipulate ink density on a printing substrate even after exposure of a first printing plate within a printing press without inking zones, correction values are generated in the vicinity of the printing press in regions on the basis of at least a printing image printed on the printing substrate. The correction values are then used for correcting printing originals on which printing is based and/or screened image data and at least one second printing form is produced on the basis of at least the correction values.
