    摘要: A method is described for setting a liner in a rubble pile located on the floor of a subterranean cavity which is being solution mined. The invention involves the placing of a liner in a rubble pile on a subterranean cavity floor by introducing the liner with the drilling string. The liner is carried to the bottom of a subterranean cavity and inserted in the rubble pile located on the cavity floor by thrust bearings positioned on the tubing string and spaced apart from each other a distance greater than the distance encountered by the liner associated with the drilling string. Provision is made for insertion of the liner into the rubble pile once the drill has entered the pile a desired distance and means are provided for cutting the drill bit from the assembly. Specific provisions are made in the liner assembly for the introduction of fluid to the rubble pile and the removal of fluid therefrom.

The material is stored in circular warehouses in a plurality of circumferential piles. Each circle of piled material has a different circumference and the vertical drop of the material from its entry into the warehouse to its resting place in the warehouse is minimized to avoid breakage. Uses of the method to store CK1, KaC1, CaC12 and mixed fertilizers are specifically disclosed.

    摘要: A highly sensitive magnetometer, consisting of at least one pair of generally rectangular core elements having square hysteresis loops, for use in a guidance system for off-vertical drilling, is disclosed. The primary windings of each of the cores are driven by an oscillator, with the secondary windings of each core being differentially connected through a null circuit, which serves to balance the effects of background fields, and a detector to a suitable indicator. The primary windings of the cores are operated in resonance and the secondary windings are arranged to provide a high null output which eliminates the dead band caused by the threshold value of the diodes in the output detector circuit. This high null output may be accomplished by unbalancing the core windings or by feeding a portion of the primary winding drive current, or a signal synchronous therewith, to the corresponding secondary winding, thereby permitting measurement of the small magnetic fields which previously fell within the dead band of the device.
