    摘要: A method for detecting wheels of a vehicle on a road comprises directing a vehicle classification sensor onto a section of the road and recording a 3D representation of the vehicle, directing a camera onto the section and recording a source 2D image, determining a bounding box circumscribing the 3D representation, a side and four corner points of said bounding box side, identifying corner points in a source 2D image plane, defining four corner points of a rectangle in a destination 2D image plane, calculating a projective transformation between the source corner image points and the destination corner image points, transforming source 2D image pixels to destination 2D image pixels of a first destination 2D image, and detecting the wheels using the destination 2D image.

    摘要: The present application discloses a method of issuing pseudonymous authorisation tickets to nodes of a cooperative ITS, for signing messages, comprising: receiving a ticket request from a node in an authorisation server, and sending a validation request to an enrolment server, conducting a validity check in the enrolment server, and, when the validity check is passed, incrementing a counter value of a counter assigned to an account at an account server enrolled with the enrolment server for the requesting node, sending a validation message to the authorisation server, and issuing a pseudonymous authorisation ticket from the authorisation server to the requesting node, repeating the aforementioned steps until a predetermined charging period expires, and, upon expiry, sending, from the enrolment server to the authorisation server, said counter value, and sending a charging request calculated from said counter value from the authorisation server to the account server for charging said account.

The tolling system has a camera at each location to be tolled, a server, a user terminal, linked by a network, and a database The method includes: generating one or more tolling records, each including a picture of the vehicle taken by one of the cameras, the location of the camera, and a license plate number read by optical character recognition from the picture, and storing the tolling records in the database; sending a confirmation request to the user terminal including the read license plate number and location information dependent on the locations in the tolling records; and receiving a response from the user terminal and, if the response confirms the request, deleting the pictures from the tolling records in the database. Alternative embodiments include pre-/post-registration of locations to toll.

    摘要: Methods for detecting the passing of a virtual tolling point by a vehicle travelling on a road network are performed by systems and apparatuses. In the methods, a sequence of distances between position fixes and the virtual tolling point are calculated, where the position fixes are sequentially obtained from a GNSS receiver carried by the vehicle. The sequence of distances are searched for a global minimum followed by an increase and, if such is found, then the passing of the virtual tolling point is detected. Otherwise, a new distance calculated between a newly obtained position fix and the virtual tolling point is appended to the sequence while discarding the oldest distance from the sequence. The method is then repeated from the sequence of distances being searched until the passing of the virtual tolling point is detected.
