摘要: Apparatuses, systems, and methods are described to enhance images rendered on an Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED) display. An OLED device is formed with a first light emitting OLED stack, a charge generating layer (CGL), a second light emitting OLED stack, and a color filter. An OLED display pixel includes three sub-pixels where each subpixel is fabricated with a separate anode and a color filter. A dielectric barrier is disposed between the separate anodes and around the perimeter of each separate anode of the three sub-pixels. When current flows to a desired sub-pixel of the three sub-pixels, lateral current flow through the CGL to adjacent sub-pixels is impeded, resulting in light generation by the desired sub-pixel and reduction in unwanted light generation at sub-pixels adjacent to the desired sub-pixel. The OLED device can include micro lenses, which collimate light thereby reducing an aperture of emitted light to increase display brightness.

摘要: A mobile device case may include a housing having a main body with a display opening, and a cap. The cap may be fixedly attachable to the main body so that when the cap is fixedly attached to the main body a housing interior is environmentally isolated from a housing exterior. The housing may further include a feedthrough connector assembly including an interior connector disposed within the housing, and an exterior connector electrically connected to the interior connector and disposed outside of the housing, the feedthrough connector assembly configured to environmentally isolate the housing interior from the housing exterior. The mobile device case may further include a selectably sealable environmental port configured to selectably allow a gas flow from the housing interior to the housing exterior, allow a gas flow from the housing exterior to the housing interior, and maintain a seal between the housing exterior and the housing interior.

摘要: A method of arranging components in an integrated circuit includes providing two or more circuit cells of a first type and providing two or more circuit cells of a second type. The alternating pattern may be an array of rows and columns and may include a repeating pattern of one first type cell and one second type cell in each of the columns. The alternating pattern may include a repeating pattern of one cell of the first type and two cells of the second type in each of the columns.

摘要: In headset computers that leverage voice commands, often the user does not know what voice commands are available. In one embodiment, a method includes providing a user interface in a headset computer and, in response to user utterance of a cue toggle command, displaying at least one cue in the user interface. Each cue can correspond to a voice command associated with code to execute. In response to user utterance of the voice command, the method can also include executing the code associated with the voice command. The user can therefore ascertain what voice commands are available.

摘要: Systems and methods are described to extract desired audio from an apparatus that is worn on a user's head. The apparatus includes a head wearable device. A first microphone is positioned on the head wearable device to receive a voice signal from the user A first signal from the first microphone is input as a main channel to a noise cancellation unit. A second microphone is coupled to the head wearable device. A first acoustic distance between the first microphone and the user's mouth is less than a second acoustic distance between the second microphone and the user's mouth when the head wearable device is on the user's head. A second signal from the second microphone is input as a reference channel to the noise cancellation unit. A first signal-to-noise ratio of the first signal is larger than a second signal-to-noise ratio of the second signal.

摘要: An apparatus to time delay a digital, signal output from an oversampled sensor includes a first time delay element and a second time delay element. The first time delay element has a first input and a first output. The first time delay element is configured to output a time delayed signal that is time delayed by an integer number of sampling clock cycles. An output of the oversampled sensor is connected to the first input of the first time delay element. The second time delay element has a second input and a second output and is configured to output a time delayed signal that is time delayed by an integer number of sampling clock cycles. The first output of the first time delay element is connected to the second input of the second time delay element. A multiplexer has a control input and a multiplexer output. The first output of the first time delay element is connected to a first multiplexer input. The second output of the second time delay element is connected to a second multiplexer input. In operation, time delay information is used to provide a signal to the control input to select a particular multiplexer input for output on the multiplexer output. The output of the oversampled sensor is time delayed by an amount provided by the particular multiplexer input.

摘要: The invention is a multi-microphone voice processing SoC primarily for head worn applications. It bypasses the use of conventional pre-amp voice CODEC (ADC/DAC) chips all together by replacing their functionality with digital MEMS microphone(s) and digital speaker driver (DSD). Functionality necessary for speech recognition such as noise/echo cancellation, speech compression, speech feature extraction and lossless speech transmission are also integrated into the SoC. One embodiment is a noise cancellation chip for wired, battery powered headsets and earphones, as smart-phone accessory. Another embodiment is as a wireless Bluetooth noise cancellation companion chip. The invention can be used in headwear, eyewear glass, mobile wearable computing, heavy duty military, aviation and industrial headsets and other speech recognition applications in noisy environments.
