Abstract:
The present invention provides an electricity generation device using hot gas engine. The device contains a closed container filled with high-pressure gas. The container has an outlet which is connected to a pneumatic or hydraulic cylinder. Hot and cold fluids are sprayed alternatively and repeatedly into the closed container to heat up or cool down the high-pressure gas. As the high-pressure gas expands or contracts, a piston rod of the cylinder is pushed and pulled back and forth so as to produce electricity continuously.
Abstract:
The newspaper provider stores a set of multimedia information about a specific news in a news web site. Then on the printed newspaper, a specific one-dimensional barcode identifying the corresponding set of multimedia information is printed alongside the specific news. When the newspaper reader is interested in learning more about the specific news, the reader uses a barcode reader connected to a computer to scan the one-dimensional barcode. The scanned barcode is sent to the news web site via Internet. The news web site uses the scanned barcode to locate and transmit the specific news' set of multimedia information to the computer where its text and video part is displayed on a display device and its audio part is played through a speaker.
Abstract:
A horizontal axis wind turbine (HAWT) includes: a tower, a rotor rotatably mounted on an upper portion of the tower, an upper crank unit mounted in an upper portion of the tower and operatively rotated by the rotor, a lower crank unit mounted in a lower portion of the tower and linked to the upper crank unit to be driven and rotated by the upper crank unit, a kinetic-force conversion apparatus connected to and rotatably driven by the lower crank unit to convert the kinetic energy to an output electricity, and a nacelle secured to a lower portion of the tower for mounting the kinetic-force conversion apparatus in the nacelle, with the nacelle approximating to the tower bottom for enhancing stability and safety of the HAWT, and also for reducing the installation, operation and maintenance cost of the HAWT.

Abstract:
A device of floating wind turbine comprises a floating foundation, wind turbines provided on the floating foundation, and a seabed anchor attached to the floating foundation, wherein the floating foundation is symmetrically provided with two wind turbines; the floating foundation and the two wind turbines are attached to the seabed anchor by tethers, whereby when the wind turbines are driven to generate electrical power, they respectively exert an upward force and a downward force at a center portion of the floating foundation between the two wind turbines; both turbines have an approximately equal speed and output power; whereby the upward force can be counterbalanced by the downward force, so that the wind turbines and the floating foundation can be maintained at a balanced condition.
Abstract:
Disclosed in a multimedia name card management system in which a driver program and hardware are prior installed in a user end and internet is used as a transmission medium so that by using a one dimensional barcode scanner device to scan a one dimensional barcode printed on the name card at user end and establishing connection with a web site name card management system in which multimedia name cards are stored, personal data of the name card owner can be accessed. The management system allows the user end to access the web site by using password for recording or revision of stored personal data, and setting of other functions, so as to realize a multimedia name card function of efficient look-up and convenient revision. The present invention also allows selected personal data to be transmitted in a wireless manner from the computer to a mobile phone or a personal digital assistant (PDA) for storage.
Abstract:
A device of floating wind turbines comprises a floating foundation, the wind turbine mounted on the floating foundation, and a seabed anchor attached to the floating foundation, wherein the floating foundation is installed with two wind turbines and is attached to the seabed anchor by a tether, the two wind turbines are configured such that one of the two wind turbines has blades rotated in clockwise direction while the other of the two wind turbines has blades rotated in counter-clockwise direction, both turbines have an approximately equal speed and output power; whereby, due to both turbines having an approximately equal speed and output power, the torques existed in the wind turbines can be naturally counterbalanced, such that the wind turbines and the floating foundation can be maintained at a balance.
Abstract:
A rotary one-dimensional barcode reading device includes a motor and a one-dimensional barcode reader attached to the motor shaft so as to allow the reader to rotate with the motor shaft, by which linearity of the light source and the receiver of the barcode reader are converted into circularity to realize direction-diversified linear light sources and receives in various directions. Input and output of power source and signals are performed through electrical brushes. With this arrangement, a one-dimensional barcode in any direction can be properly read and the electronic signal generated by the one-dimensional barcode so read is transmitted through the electrical brushes or in a wireless manner to a computer, a point-of-sale (POS), a personal digital assistant (PDA), and the likes.
Abstract:
A power generator with high power-to-volume ratio includes a plurality of silicon steel plates and air gaps or plastic plates, which are alternately arranged to form adjacent magnetic paths of a stator and a mover or a rotor of a power generator and which have intervals (which are defined by thickness or width of the silicon steel plates or the air gaps or the plastic plates) that are set to be very small, whereby when the mover or the rotor take a movement or rotation by one interval, magnetic flux induced in a magnetic path of the stator around which an induction coil is wound changes magnitude and direction thereof so that through quick changes, the induction coil induces a higher voltage and thus significantly increases power-to-volume ratio of the generator.
Abstract:
A horizontal axis wind turbine with rotatable tower including nacelle and blades. The tower, the blades, and the nacelle are rotatable by following the shift of wind direction so as to align the blades to be facing with the wind direction for enhancing performances thereof. Also can eliminate the gearbox, as compared to the conventional horizontal axis wind turbine that the nacelle is not completely fixed with tower, the present invention is easy to manufacture with reduced costs.
