摘要： A hot and cold beverage maker has apparatus for preparing a hot beverage and a beverage jug into which the hot beverage is dispensed and cooled. The jug has an outer receptacle having an outer receptacle wall and a base and an inner receptacle for receiving a cooling agent. The inner receptacle is removably located within the outer receptacle and has an inner receptacle wall together with the outer receptacle wall defining a beverage compartment for receiving the hot beverage to be cooled. A rotational paddle is located within the beverage compartment between the inner and outer receptacle walls for stirring a beverage in the beverage compartment. There may also be a rotational blade within the inner receptacle for agitating the cooling agent.

摘要： An exemplary apparatus facilitates the formation of carbon nanotubes with desired tip structures. The apparatus includes a reaction chamber including a gas outlet, and an evacuation device. The reaction chamber is configured for receiving a catalyst from which the carbon nanotubes grow and providing an environment for growing the carbon nanotubes. The evacuation device includes an intake connected with the gas outlet. The evacuation device is configured for reducing an inner pressure in the reaction chamber and inducing the formation of carbon nanotubes with desired tip structures. Methods for synthesizing carbon nanotubes with desired tip structures are also provided.

摘要： An apparatus for producing and dispensing a chilled or partially frozen beverage and a base and an outer receptacle provided on the base. An inner receptacle for receiving a cooling agent is removably located within the outer receptacle. The inner and outer receptacle walls define a beverage compartment for receiving a beverage to be chilled or partially frozen. A dispensing valve is located in or near the outer receptacle bottom for dispensing beverage from within the compartment. A rotational paddle in the beverage compartment is rotational in a first directing for stirring a beverage in the compartment and in an opposite direction for moving the beverage towards the dispensing valve.
