    摘要: A coin processing machine comprises a rotatable disk receiving deposited coins and feeding out the received coins to a coin sorting passage by a centrifugal force produced by rotation thereof. The coin sorting passage has a pair of guide members. The denomination of coins to be processed is selected, and the coins which are fed out to the coin sorting passage are processed in accordance with the denomination selected. The coin processing machine further comprises data storage of data concerning the denomination of coins to be processed. The coin data is input into the data storage. A controller reads out the coin data from the data storage in accordance with the denomination selected so as to control the coin processing.

    摘要: A coin wrapping machine includes a coin stacking device for stacking coins. A coin support post receives the stacked coins at a post waiting position immediately below the coin stacking device and supports them on a upper surface thereof. A coin wrapping device includes a plurality of wrapping rollers for winding a wrapping film around the stacked coins and produces a wrapped coin roll. A support post moving mechanism moves the coin support post between the post waiting position, a post wrapping position where the supported coins can be wrapped by the coin wrapping device, and a post retracted position where the coin support post is retracted from between the wrapping rollers. A mode selector selects a counting mode which causes the coin wrapping machine to only count coins or a wrapping mode which causes it to count and wrap coins. When the mode selector is used to select the wrapping mode, the support post moving mechanism lowers the coin support post by a distance substantially corresponding to the thickness of one coin each time the coin support post receives a coin during the period between the time that the coin stacking device stacks coins in a number that is smaller than a predetermined number to be wrapped in one wrapped coin roll and the time that the coin support post receives the predetermined number of coins. The thus constituted coin wrapping machine can be made compact and can prevent coin jamming with a mechanism of simple structure and can wrap coins in a desired manner.

    摘要: A detecting apparatus for detecting discrepancy in number of stacked coins provided for a coin wrapping machine including wrapping rollers for winding a wrapping film having a larger width than the height of stacked coins around stacked coins of a predetermined number so that there remain crimp regions crimpable above and below the stacked coins and an upper crimp claw and a lower crimp claw movable in the vertical direction, the upper crimp claw and the lower crimp claw being for crimping the crimp regions of the wrapping film by being moved toward each other and holding the stacked coins therebetween, the detecting apparatus for detecting discrepancy in number of stacked coins further including an upper arm for supporting the upper crimp claw, a lower arm for supporting the lower crimp claw, a rack extending vertically and fixed to one of the upper arm and the lower arm, a pinion rotatably mounted on the other of the upper and lower arms and engageable with the rack, an absolute type rotary encoder connected to the pinion for outputting absolute position data in accordance with the position of rotation thereof, and a detector for detecting any discrepancy in the number of the stacked coins by calculating the sum of distances traveled by the upper and lower crimp claws based upon the absolute position data output from the rotary encoder. The thus constituted detecting apparatus can detect discrepancies in the number of the stacked coins with high accuracy.

This coin stacking apparatus can prevent coins from jamming therein.

The thus constituted coin handling machine can accurately adjust the width of the coin sorting passage so as to coincide with various coins having diameters widely differing from each other with a mechanism of simple structure.

    摘要: An unacceptable coin removing apparatus for a coin handling machine having a rotatable disk for receiving deposited coins, an annular guide provided on the periphery of the rotatable disk and formed with an opening, a coin sorting passage connected to the opening downstream thereof, a pair of guide plates provided for the coin sorting passage, the space between the pair of guide plates being adjustable and the pair of guide plates being capable of supporting a predetermined denomination of coins in accordance with the space therebetween, a coin collecting opening provided below the pair of guide plates, a coin transporting belt provided in the coin sorting passage for transporting coins by contacting the upper faces of coins in the coin sorting passage, a drive motor for driving the rotatable disk and the coin transporting belt and a sensor provided downstream of the coin collecting opening in the coin sorting passage for detecting the characteristics of the coins, the unacceptable coin removing apparatus further including a first stopper provided downstream of the sensor in the coin sorting passage and capable of preventing coins from being further transported, a second stopper provided downstream of the first stopper in the coin sorting passage and capable of preventing coins from being further transported, and a controller for judging based upon signals input from the sensor whether each coin is acceptable or not. This unacceptable coin removing apparatus can remove unacceptable coins using a simple structure and enables the coin handling machine to be made compact.

The second stacking block includes a first inner wall section and a second inner wall section. The first inner wall section thereof and the first inner wall section of the first stacking block are formed symmetrically with respect to the center line of the coin sorting passage, and the second inner wall section thereof and the second inner wall section of the first stacking block are formed symmetrically with respect to the center line of the coin sorting passage. The second inner wall section thereof is higher than the first inner wall section thereof in the direction in which the coins are stacked.
