    Abstract: A cage of the invention is equipped with a first annular portion and a second annular portion that are disposed respectively at both ends in an axial direction, and a plurality of columns which couples the first annular portion and the second annular portion to each other, and which forms a plurality of pockets in which rolling elements are accommodated. The cage is composed of a first body portion and a second body portion that are arranged in the axial direction of the bearing and that are coupled to each other via interlocking columns provided on each of the first and second body portions. At least one of the first body portion and the second body portion has an outer diameter face having recessed therein an oil groove whose base end leads to a corresponding pocket.

    Abstract: A double-split cage includes a strip-shaped metallic sheet curved into a semi-cylindrical shape and having several pockets for accommodating a single row of rollers arranged in the circumferential direction. The strip-shaped metallic sheet has two arch portions separately arranged in the axial direction and includes pillar portions arranged at several positions of both arch portions in the circumferential direction. Both arch portions have protrusions protruding from the pillar portions at both end portions in the circumferential direction, and a forward end portion of each protrusion is chamfered at a corner outside in the axial direction. Length of the chamfered portion in the circumferential direction is larger than the protruding length of each protrusion.

    Abstract: A rocker arm is tilted by a cam so as to open and close a valve provided on a cylinder head. This arm comprises a pair of opposing wall portions which are made by folding a flat plate so that they oppose substantially in parallel and cylindrical expanding portions which are formed at tilting fulcrum shaft mounting portions located in a center of the opposing wall portions in the length direction thereof, the expanding portions being expanded in the direction of the tilting fulcrum shaft. The cylindrical expanding portions which are thicker than the opposing wall portions receive a load accompanied by the tilting motion so as to decrease bearing stress applied to the opposing wall portions.
