    Abstract: A ball bearing includes an inner ring having a raceway surface, an outer ring having a raceway surface, a plurality of rolling elements rollably disposed between the raceway surface of the inner ring and the raceway surfaces of the outer ring, and a resin cage configured to retain the plurality of rolling elements between the inner ring and the outer ring. The cage is a crown type cage having an annular base portion and a plurality of pockets formed in an axial end face of the annular base portion, in which the pockets retain the rolling elements. An axial distance between an axial position of a center of gravity of the cage and a curvature center of a spherical or cylindrical inner surface of each of the pockets is 0.6 or more times a radius of curvature of the inner surface. A hybrid vehicle transmission has this ball bearing.

    Abstract: A bearing structure includes a shaft member coupled to a motor, two bearings on the shaft member with a distance therebetween in an axial direction, and a housing rotatable relative to the shaft member by means of the bearings, and an electrically-conductive seal member provided between the shaft member and the housing and abutting on the shaft member and the housing. The bearings include inner and outer rings fitted to an outer peripheral surface of the shaft member and an inner peripheral surface of the housing, respectively. The shaft member, housing, and seal member constitute an oil passage. At least one of an abutment portion where the seal member abuts on the shaft member or an abutment portion where the seal member abuts on the housing has a guide groove that guides oil entering the abutment portion from the oil passage to an external space of the oil passage.

    Abstract: A tapered roller bearing includes: an inner ring including an inner raceway surface tapered so that the inner raceway surface increases in diameter from a first side to a second side; an outer ring including an outer raceway surface tapered so that the outer raceway surface increases in diameter from the first side to the second side; a plurality of tapered rollers disposed in an annular space defined between the inner ring and the outer ring; and an annular cage retaining the tapered rollers. The cage includes: a small diameter annular portion; a large diameter annular portion; and a plurality of cage bars connecting the small and large diameter annular portions. An outer clearance is defined between the outer ring and the cage and between circumferentially adjacent ones of the tapered rollers. The outer clearance has a cross-sectional area increasing from the second side to the first side.

    Abstract: A rolling element bearing (1) that includes a plurality of balls (4) as rolling elements guided in a cage (5). A lubricant channel (19) is formed in snap-in pockets (8) in a region between a lateral ring section (6) and the central ball (4) track, between the ball (4) and the adjoining web section (7) and/or the adjoining lateral ring section (6), which fluidically connects the radial outer side and the radial inner side of the cage (5). In order for the rolling element bearing (1) lubricant supply to be improved, on the web sections (7), an outer block section (10) is formed on the radial outer side and/or an inner block section (11) is formed on the radial inner side, which project relative to the lateral ring section (6), in the radial direction in relation to the bearing axis L, and reduce the available rolling element space between two adjoining balls (4).
