摘要： A process for constructing a three-dimensional geologic model of a subsurface earth volume wherein resolution scales of multiple diverse data types, including seismic data, are accounted for by generating multiple frequency passband models and combining them together to form the complete geologic model. Preferably, a model is generated for each of a low-frequency passband, a mid-frequency passband, and a high-frequency passband. When integrating seismic data into the modeling process, the seismic-frequency passband constitutes the mid-frequency passband model. The process further contemplates updating tentative frequency-passband models through optimization of assigned rock property values in each tentative model according to specified geological criteria. Such optimization is carried out by perturbation of the rock property values in a manner wherein the frequency content of each model is maintained.

摘要： A portable urine storage device is provided. The urine storage device for maintaining urine at selectable and controllable temperatures during transportation. The fluid storage device nests a container in a heating element. A temperature probe is in the container and electrically coupled to a programmable thermostat powering the heating element. The urine storage device enables the current temperature and a desired temperature to be represented on a user interface along a housing of the container. A release switch valve enables the release of the urine from the container in a manner that simulates human urination in form and temperature.

摘要： A work string assembly for an oil or gas well has a first and second tubulars, and a torque limiting device connected in the work string. The torque limiting device has a body with an axial bore and two interconnected members that can disconnect to be relatively rotatable. The interconnected members can be repeatedly re-engageable when the torque levels drop below a torque threshold value, or can be connected by a frangible member that is broken when the interconnected members disconnect. A selectively actuable circulation port provided in the string adjacent to and above the torque limiting device allows the annulus between the work string and the casing to be flushed with fluid from the port.
