    摘要： Methods and apparatus provide for: displaying a program guide on a display device, the program guide being such that respective program frames for a plurality of programs are arranged in a display area having a time axis of one or more time slots and a channel axis; displaying a cursor on the display device and allowing a user to move the cursor, highlight desired ones of the program frames, and select from among the plurality of programs in the program guide; and displaying detailed program information regarding content of one of the programs of one of the program frames that is highlighted and/or selected by the user via the cursor, where the detailed information is displayed by enlarging the one of the program frames as compared with others of the program frames.

    摘要： An information processing device 11 causes a display 14 to display a program guide in which program information broadcast in one channel is placed in a region having a date axis and a time axis. When a moving operation of the cursor in the time axis direction on the program guide, which particularly is a moving operation from a broadcasting program on a certain date to another broadcasting program on a next date, is accepted, the broadcasting program on the next date is displayed at a position on the date axis at which the broadcasting program on the certain date is displayed, without moving the cursor in the date axis direction.

    摘要： A note-type personal computer according to the present invention has an LCD for displaying information stored in an internal storage provided therein, and an external storage or an external picture server connected thereto, via the internet. And, operation for the information stored in the respective storages is performed by the user in the same procedure using operation units such as a keyboard, a touch pad, with indication on the LCD confirmed. When the information stored in the picture server is displayed, the LCD displays auxiliary information indicative of this notice. The LCD displays the auxiliary information using a different folder name, or displays the auxiliary information on the background of a display area of the LCD. So, the user can confirm contents on the internet easily without the need of performing complicated operations.

    摘要： An improved convenience is attained in adding a character or figure to a picture with an improved convenience as follows: When a mode for addition of a character to a picture display area is selected, an attribute processor (101) outputs a plurality of sample characters whose attributes are different from each other, a display control unit (102) displays the plurality of sample characters different in attribute from each other in descending order starting with the most frequently used one in the form of a list in the sample character display area. When a predetermined sample character is selected using a touch pad (6) and a position where a character is actually added in the picture display area is selected, it becomes possible to actually add a character on the basis of the attribute of the selected sample character first at the selected position, and the attribute processor (101) provides such a control as to add a character entered from a keyboard (5) on the basis of the attribute of the sample character.
