摘要： A ventilated helmet is provided. The helmet includes a shell defining a cavity, the shell having a front section provided with an opening to allow the wearer to see. The helmet also includes a transparent shield adapted having an inner surface and being adapted to substantially close the opening. Finally, the helmet includes a ventilation system having an evacuation subsystem adapted to create an evacuation airflow to evacuate humid air within the cavity to a surrounding environment. The ventilation system further has a pressurizing subsystem adapted to admit a pressurizing airflow within the cavity to create a high-pressure zone and a low-pressure zone within the cavity, wherein when in use, the wearer exhales air within the low-pressure zone, and wherein the high-pressure zone prevents air within the cavity from travelling from the low-pressure zone to the high-pressure zone. A method of evacuating humid air from the cavity is also provided.

摘要： An accessory mounting system for mounting an accessory on a vehicle is provided. The mounting system includes a stacking assembly having a support structure adapted to be coupled to the vehicle and which includes a first support segment and a second support segment respectively provided with interlocking sections adapted to slidably engage one another to selectively define a length of the support structure. The stacking assembly also includes a support segment latch adapted to selectively secure the first support segment and the second support segment together and block movement of the first support segment and of the second support segment along the longitudinal axis. The stacking assembly further includes a pair of mounting fixtures connected at opposite ends of the support structure, and to which the accessory is adapted to be coupled to in order to mount the accessory to the vehicle.

The goggles include a conductive lens mounted onto a frame adapted to be electrically connected to an electric socket in order to raise the temperature of the lens, when powered. The goggles are provided with a strap for attaching to a helmet, the strap has a strap clip designed to have the electric socket attached thereto. The electric socket is meant to be electrically connected to a power supply via a power cable. With the combination of a strain relief clip located below the electric socket, the power cable can be positioned in a predetermined configuration which unencumbers the user from the power cable when detaching or removing the goggles.

The accessory mounting system includes a mounting assembly which has an elongated rail removably connectable to the vehicle. The mounting assembly also includes a connector having a head portion slidably mounted within the slot, and a shank portion extending from the head and vertically above the top surface of the elongated rail. The mounting assembly also has a mounting fixture connectable to the connector and adapted to selectively have a portion of the accessory be connected thereto, the mounting fixture is connected to the connector in a manner such that moving the connector along the slot correspondingly displaces the mounting fixture along the elongated rail to adjust the position of the accessory on the vehicle.

The helmet for use with the cheek air pad includes an outer shell having an inside surface, an inner liner surrounding the head of the user and operatively mounted to the helmet outer shell, a chin bar disposed below the face visor, the chin bar having an inside surface facing toward the person when wearing the helmet and a breath guard. The inner liner generally has an inner face and a transparent face visor is attached to the helmet outer shell. The cheek pad is preferably embodied as a deformable element extending upwardly and/or inwardly from the helmet inner liner on the right and/or left inner side of the face visor or goggles. The deformable element is configured to be in contact with the face of the user and the inner edge of the breath guard and the inner liner.

The chin curtain is preferably made from a resilient flexible solid material providing for an adequate elastic adjustment, allowing a fit to a wide variety of different helmets. The single piece nature of the chin curtain preferably allows for the prevention of leaks for adequate wind and noise reduction. The elastomeric nature of the material allows the chin curtain to retain its shape even when distorted from putting on and the removing the helmet.
