摘要: The present invention relates to a filler comprising calcium salt and cellulose derivative having a degree of substitution of net ionic groups up to about 0.65, wherein the filler is substantially free from fibers or fibrils of cellulose or lignocellulose. The invention also relates to a filler comprising calcium salt and a cellulose derivative having a degree of substitution of net ionic groups up to about 0.65, wherein the cellulose derivative contains cationic groups.

摘要: A method for the preparation of a coated substrate is provided, comprising the steps of providing a substrate; applying on at least one side of said substrate a first coating layer of a first aqueous composition comprising porous anionic pigment particles having a BET surface area of above 40 m2/g and a binder and applying on said first coating layer, a second coating layer of a second, aqueous composition comprising cationic colloidal silica or silicate based particles and polyalkylene glycol. It has been found that a substrate coated with the combination of the first coating layer and the second coating layer provides a suitable substrate for high-quality and fast-drying inkjet printouts.

摘要: The invention relates to an aqueous pigment composition comprising polyalkylene glycol and inorganic pigment particle comprising colloidal silica or silicate based particles or aggregates thereof, wherein polyalkylene glycol constitutes from 50 to 100 wt % of the total amount of organic material in the composition and the weight ratio of colloidal silica 5 or silicate based particles or aggregates thereof to organic material in the composition is from 1:3 to 30:1. The invention further relates to a process for its production, use thereof, a process for coating paper or paper board and coated paper or paper board.
