摘要： In an AV system which has a display capable of outputting image and sound, and an amplifier capable of outputting sound, a control section is provided which restricts an output mode of an primary sound on the first information output device, wherein the primary sound is outputted concurrently with a primary image on the display, upon switching from the primary image formerly outputted on the display to another image to be outputted on the display and outputting another sound from the amplifier concurrently with the another image.

摘要： In an AV system which has a display capable of receiving a selection control information via a communications network; an amplifier capable of accessing to the display via the communications network; and a DVD player, a videotape recorder, and a set-top box which each are connected to the amplifier and the display, there are provided: a selection section for selecting one sound information from a plurality of sound information outputted separately from the DVD player, the videotape recorder and the set-top box to the amplifier; and a communications section for transmitting to the display a selection control information which makes the display a selection of the video information to be outputted concurrently with the selected sound information, based on an connection information which indicates that the video information is to be outputted with the selected sound.

摘要： An apparatus for controlling a stepping motor used for moving a carriage having a pickup from a first position to a second position, the apparatus having: a calculating device for calculating a moving distance between the first position and the second position; a setting device for setting an acceleration area to accelerate the stepping motor and a deceleration area to decelerate the stepping motor, on the basis of the moving distance; and a driving device for driving the stepping motor by a one-two-phase excitation method until rotation velocity of the stepping motor increases to a predetermined velocity in the acceleration area, driving the stepping motor by a two-phase excitation method after rotation velocity of the stepping motor increases to the predetermined velocity in the acceleration area, driving the stepping motor by the two-phase excitation method until rotation velocity of the stepping motor decreases to the predetermined velocity in the deceleration area, and driving the stepping motor by the one-two-phase excitation method after rotation velocity of the stepping motor decreases to the predetermined velocity in the deceleration area.

摘要： A novel cassette changer for a tape player wherein a tape cassette accommodating member and a tape driving mechanism are fixed relative to each other during selection of a tape cassette and which has a comparatively small overall size and requires a comparatively low power for moving a tape cassette between the tape cassette accommodating member and tape driving mechanism. The cassette changer comprises a plurality of cassette receiving members each for removably receiving a tape cassette thereon, an accommodating member for receiving the cassette receiving members in a row thereon, an actuating means for selectively moving a cassette receiving members from a home position to a transfer position, a tape driving mechanism mounted in a fixed relationship with respect to the accommodating member for receiving a tape cassette thereon and driving a tape of the tape cassette, and a carrier for receiving a tape cassette from the selected cassette receiving member moved to the transfer position and setting the tape cassette in position onto the tape driving mechanism.
