    Abstract: A method for the production of a connecting structure for a motor vehicle involves inserting two profile elements, connected to one another by a plastic joint element, into a tool and hardening in the tool. A fiber semi-finished product with respective receivers for corresponding connecting regions of the profile elements is produced. The connecting regions of the profile elements are connected to the respective receivers of the fiber semi-finished product.
